I recommend the second farm, Why you might ask? because you can build many more around it but it depends on your situation like building a netherite beacon. the third farm is reccomended. but if its only for fireworks the 3 one is ideal. but if you want a huge amount of gpowder then the 3rd one will do you good

For the 10 minute farm if you were to stack it more do you need to place less scaffolding to get to the AFK spot or would it still be 118?

The afk point must be within 128 blocks of the "floor" of the lowest farm level in any case. So yes, less scaffolding. I didn't keep a close eye, but I guess that means 6 fewer scaffolds for each additional level of the farm. In short: afk is always the same height above the "floor" of the lowest level of the farm. The "floor" of the top level of the farm must not be less than 24 blocks from the afk because creepers will not spawn at these levels. So you can only build enough levels to fit between 128 and 24 from afk. It means like 17 levels. Will be enough for you? ;)

There are multiple good easy gunpowder farms for bedrock (ps4 edition) just search bedrock gunpowder farm and you will find plenty easy designs

Could be that you built it too close to a mountain like me. if it's too close to a mountain then mobs can spawn outside of the farm. Also, if you build more layers to it then make sure your AFK spot isnt too high up. if it's too high the mobs could despawn before getting burnt by the campfire

I'm in Java and did absolutely everything correctly for the 1 minute farm. 30 minutes later, zero creepers, zero gunpowder. I triple checked. EDIT: I figured out the problem. In the video he places the hopper the wrong way. All the gunpowder goes into the ground. It takes several extra steps to place the hopper so the contents go into the chest, which is why he didn't do it. 😒
