I’m tempted to go here for the amount of LNWR rolling stock, specifically the Picnic Saloon and Cornwall. I heard that they have an LNWR full brake luggage coach, but I don’t know if that’s on display or not?

They do have a lovely selection of LNWR items, I didn't see a full brake on this visit, but I believe it may currently be under restoration

We have an LNWR Picnic Saloon, LNWR Inspection Saloon (just the body) We also have LNWR 1st Class Diner No. 77 and LNWR 1st Class Sleeping Car No. 112. Of those items only the Picnic Saloon is hard to see as that is under cover in the workshop shed in the downyard currently.

I though that the sad practice of infilling bridges and cutting off grandfather rights of older permanent way was a thing of the past, the dreaded 1960s when all thought was of today and the motor vehicle and no consideration for a strategic reserve.
