Im a carlton supporter and you could feel a goal comimg every time they went forward and left like hogan was going to mark it, they played a really good forward half game

5:20 completely cut out the real highlight where Darcy Jones lays a desperate tackle and follows it up with a full diving smother which leads to the turnover the commentator mentions. To do both those things and immediately get up and run-with 100m+ is ridiculous

A literal rollercoaster. Carlton choked big time and GWS almost did the same thing. Blues led by as much as 39 points before the Giants overran them with ease to lead by as much as six goals. Then Carlton stormed home, but it wasn't enough. At least both teams scored over 100 points. It was a great game.

I wouldnt say an initial rebuild, only towards the aspect of balancing out pressure and when to put in work. first quarter carlton pushed beyond limits, which tired them out and thats what made them choke.
