GWU: Dozens arrested at pro-Palestine encampment

More than 30 people were arrested at George Washington University in Washington D.C. as police broke up a pro-Palestine encampment overnight. The action by police came just hours before the city's mayor was set to answer questions from lawmakers. FOX's Rebekah Castor has the story.
Dozens of pro-Palestine protesters left the encampment site at George Washington University Tuesday night and marched to President Ellen Granberg's home in Northwest.
In a video obtained by FOX 5, the protesters can be heard chanting, "Granberg, Granberg, you can't hide, you're complicit in genocide."
Several Metropolitan Police Department officers were sent to contain the crowd, but no arrests were made.
Since Day 1, students' demands have been centered around protecting pro-Palestinian speech on campus, receiving full disclosure of university endowments and investments, as well as divesting all funds related to Israel-based academic partnerships.

Have u ever seen any video of the protest in the 60's. The biggest difference I've notices is the camera goes up to any random person, and that student can completely and coherantly explain why they are protesting. And what they believe. It's a totally difference mind set. Back then u can clearly see and hear, that they are free thinkers and have come to a rational conclusion. Now adays the protestors are told to not speak. They don't seem to be educated on their cause and almost fear speaking without permission. It's actually scary and seems like someone is pulling the strings.
