New evidence contradicts testimony by Daybell’s daughter on mom’s autopsy results

In the prosecution’s rebuttal, Detective Bruce Mattingly with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office returned to testify on a conversation between he and Emma Murray, the daughter of Chad and Tammy Daybell.
An audio recording played in court challenged what Emma said in her testimony regarding the results of her mom’s autopsy and the conditions of learning the findings.

He even felt to share that their love life was rather "vanilla" with someone outside the family. Chads shed would have been the perfect place, there is a drain on the floor and a hose within the shed. I think it all happened right there in the shed. Driving around with a dead mutilated body would be a huge risk.

I can't be 100% on that, but Chad said something to Emma in the cop car video that they weren't going to use luminol again or something to that effect. But, I wonder if they would have used it in the shed? I saw a video where a former detective said that any blood or matter in the soil would have been gone because of Idahos harsh weather. You have a really good theory there. We don't know Tylees cause of death. I really wonder if she was incapacitated in some way or if Alex told her they were going somewhere other than Chad's since she didn't like him. I also wonder about the missing part of her skull. I pray she wasn't alive for the things we know happened.

Cannot imagine any family member not wanting to know autopsy results. Especially since Emma had requested the results, and gave interviews stating she was refused. The truth is really challenging for the Daybell family. Scary that they spend their days "teaching" children.

For all the people who are constantly repeating that Emma and Garth are "just trying to save the family" and that "all they have left is their father" - that same father, who they are lying for and trying to save, has himself ended that family by unaliving their mother. The Daybell offspring are actually shielding a man who himself DESTROYED that family! I am sorry but this line of "poor kids, they tried to save what was left" just doesn't make any sense at all. You don't save the family by protecting the one who destroyed it and then welcoming the one who he destroyed it for as a substitute mother. You don't "save the family" because thanks to Chad, there was no family left. You don't "save the family" by intentionally destroying your dead mother's reputation, lying and publicly portraying her in the worst possible way. Where is the love and the respect for the mother, who was the backbone of that family that they were supposedly trying to save? This has NOTHING to do with saving the family - it is all about SAVING THE CULT LEADER. It was not the family the Daybell offspring were protecting - they destroyed their own mother to save CHAD, not as a father but as their cult leader. These people are indoctrinated and conditioned to hate who he hates and love who he loves. Chad never loved, respected or cared for Tammy, so the children were brought up to disregard her as well. It is called parental alienation. The fact that Emma Daybell was working at the same place and went to all the activities with her mother was done because she was her narc father's enabler, his so-called flying monkey. She was there to see that Tammy didn't talk to others or have fun when Chad was not around, because we know that he always isolated her and even forbade other family members from talking to her. Emma Daybell was the extension of Chad and his instrument of controlling Tammy when she was out of the house. These people are genuine cult members who are trying to save their cult leader, and the fact that he is also their father only increases his power. The Daybells were never a normal family - as Heather said, they were always a cult. And they still are.

Agreed...however he really should have pushed Chad to have accepted a plea before wasting more tax dollars to hear the lunacy of the entire family. Some attorneys are great at swaying clients go follow their legal advice. But we obviously don't know what goes on behind closed doors. I do wonder if the attorney stands any chance to help his career. If I was a defense attorney I probably would have recused myself and or when all the previous hearings stated it would be a financial hardship to dedicate as much time as to this case, which is so strange he had that out and didn't take it. I wonder if Chad is found guilty if he is going to proceed forward with appeals. However we don't know what the jury will vote being most of this evidence is circumstantial. Just like I thought Casey Anthony would have been found guilty on all counts and yet that girl only ended up with the charge of lying to law enforcement. I hope this will be adjudicated in favor of the prosecution as Chad, Lori and Chad's children all seem pretty dangerous. Like what type of people believed in Chad...I also think Melanie and Zulema should also be charged with some culpability of what they knew (granted they won't admit to most).

Oh, please! John Pryor had YEARS to withdraw, to ask for assisstance or to complain about the money. He did nothing except that he waited until a few moths before the trial, so he could subvert and torpedo the whole case. Judge Boyce refused Pryor's foul last-minute antics because this is a solemn fight for justice for a murdered woman and two beautiful murdered children, not a theatre for unserious peacocks to strutt around and bend the truth. Every difficulty which Pryor is now facing is because of his own actions. Blake's team worked and worked, and it was time for this trial to finally commence regardless of Pryor's manipulations. That delusion of grandeur, thinking that he is smarter than everyone and that no one sees what he is doing will be the end of him.
