Granted, their are a lot of loli figures that definitely are problematic, but I welcome the more smaller chested figures just because I'm not a fan of when the breast proportions are just dumb looking.

For video suggestions, how about these? 1. Compare anime-based figures and original character figures from the same manufacturer and judge which the company does better. 2. Game where you guess the manufacturer, price, and release year for some figures. Possibility of a collab here like you did with The Price Is Right. 3. Spotlighting awful figures, especially if they're not counterfeits.

totally agree with your take about the thematic appeal of the Power and Makima figure. The fact that it's directly based on an illustration by Fujimoto is what makes it feel so perfect to me, thematically. It very subtly captures a complicated dynamic, which is cool to see in a piece of merchandise! I do wish the execution was better, but I still wanna pick it up someday lol

the insidious vibes coming off of makima in that art and figure are amazing, i’m genuinely in awe that they managed to capture it w plastic. and regarding the aqua figure, idk who she is or what she’s from, but it’s a gorgeous figure and there’s nothing wrong w liking it. figures are art just as much as drawings or writing etc, and appreciating art doesn’t necessarily correlate to your irl preferences. also i’m in love w kotobukiya’s hq figures but i have NO SPACE 😭 not even for all their nendos, so i gotta pick and choose who i want ☹️ in terms of content, maybe a video dedicated to series/characters/art that in your opinion deserve figures? actually idk if you’ve already done this, but if so maybe there are more by now 😂

I think the real problem is the opposite of what your pointing out. Nearly every figure now has oversized body parts especially ridiculous chests. Its so tiring. There's more petite women in reality than the false proportions being put into figures now. That's way more salacious than petite. But I suppose the figures are not supposed to represent reality. At the end of the day its each to their own. Figure collecting is about fun, it is after all just a piece of plastic. Sorry! 😂

No that actually is the problem, there’s a very large amount of people that can’t separate fiction from reality, they see a drawing or a piece of plastic and treat it as if it’s a real human being. It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen, I can’t wrap my head around it. Anyone who looks at that Aqua figure & thinks “child”, there’s something wrong there. I’ve been watching Gwen for a few years now & this is the first time she’s said this about loli, I actually don’t even understand what she’s saying because she has other loli figures, right behind her is a figure of Megumin, Megumin is a loli.

Kotobukiya were pushing those figures a lot, I seen so many posts of them, I’m just a massive fan of Kotobukiya, their figures are cheap, they usually always try to do something unique with the base, they do great poses and have great likeness to the characters. They just released pictures of their new YuYu Hakusho figures and they’re absolutely amazing, I’m definitely getting Hiei, maybe some of the others too.

Im waiting for my first scale to come in the mail! Ive been waiting 3 weeks and it should come in next few days. Its Freeing 1/4 Infinite Stratos Lingyin cat version. I first saw her in someone's collection on Reddit and then I found a preowned one on Solaris! 😊 I like bunny figures but Im obsessed with cats so a cat version is sooo cute! I plan to buy a Ryza figure next. The one where she is kneeling on the beach and holding a towel above her. She looks so happy and I think it will cheer me up when I look at her. There are sooo many figures I want but they are so expensive I can only buy one at a time. I am a doll collector who got into figures a few months ago. Dolls are so cheap compared to figures. 😭 I could get like 7 dolls for the price of one scale. I have 3 preorders: 1/4 snow Miku, Freeing bunny Homura and Racing Miku sitting on the cake.

The size of the Pop Up Parade Large seems to be inconsistent, I got the Guts Large Pop and it’s probably a 1/8 scale, I just got the Large Goblin Slayer and he’s much bigger, at least a 1/6.

I don't think I have anything too problematic. Maybe a couple with larger than average chests, one showing off her butt while sitting down, a couple with very loose yukatas. I have some wish listed, but my urge to get them is low, and mostly based on lower cost and availability. I do admit I might want a naked Holo, but it seems a bit much for my collection. Per my sister, "If you like it then put it up and enjoy it." As well as, "There's nothing bad about a little sultry." Meanwhile, I'm gushing over my pair of Lucky Star prize figures wearing kimonos, of the twin sisters. That was a very lucky find off AmiAmi. I did pick up the Solarain Blue figure, the voluptuous and cyberpunkish one with the school girl uniform over a leotard. Can see the face issue but I think it looks good otherwise. Also got the Amagi from Azur Lane, lightly-armored version, which I just love for being a beautiful fox lady. Later this week will be the Futaba figure in her normal outfit. Coming with her is F/GO Hokusai in her traveling/art student looking attire. I also have the hanfu girl by Anmi, that one just looked beautiful. And a prize figure of KanColle's Iowa in a kimono which will go with Warspite and Yamato.
