I heard Gwynneth Jones in the Verdi Requiem in Liverpool in 1966. I was twelve and the experience has never left me. I recently met someone who was at the same concert and had a similar experience. Wonderful. I still have the autographed programme.

Brava!!!, what a great talent Gwyheth Jones has!!! I can never get better than her while hearing any of her roles. I am a big fan from now on!!!! She is a "must hear" for any soprano, or "wannabe soprano". She gives the word dramatic soprano, a new meaning. She is simply "Divine".Brava!!!!!

I saw her sing Turandot twice (and Elektra, and Dyer's wife and Elisabeth) and her voice had a physical effect, hitting you with the sheer power.

Hara Hosen Nilsson’s is not the biggest or most ”broad or wide” but undoubtly the best projected and focused which makes it able to cut threw any orchestra.
