Really enjoyed this video and the honesty of Dave Carrie. It would be easy to show all the kills but instead he is honest enough to admit that some birds got away from him. Refreshing indeed.

I enjoy upland hunting here in the states. When I first watched your videos, I was struck at how different your hunts are from ours. But the more I watch, I see that we're the same. We both enjoy the outdoors, revere the game, and value fellowship and camaraderie. Maybe some day I'll be able to experience a traditional English hunt.

Another great one in a superb venue Dave. Those short windows in the tall timber are testing shots for sure! You really cleaned up as back gun on that last drive; not much got by there and some of those birds were as challenging as any. Excellent videography as usual, a real pleasure to watch. Surely the biggest obstacle to getting youngsters into the sport is the costs involved. Unless youngsters are paid for by wealthy parents, there is no real prospect of them being able to appreciate the joys of driven game shooting. Not sure what the answer is, if there is one!

Been to this shoot twice now and unlike your video the hospitality and bird quality was very poor to say the least would never book a shoot on your recommendation again

Where do I recommend the shoot?? The key/clue is “it’s a nice old English type shoot” with rolling type English country side not typical welsh hills that show mega birds, is it in my best of Britain estates?? Noooo!! Do I cry epic brilliant mega fantastic?? It’s not a high bird shoot and they or I have never called it a high bird shoot, it’s a nice shoot for the price with a couple of drives that can show some nice birds with a few high ones. If I am recommending a shoot on a personal level of it goes into my best in Britain series. What you fail to understand! Is that I film all types of shoots now from the 80 bird lads shoot to the epic serious commercial shoots just to show “fairly” all our diverse shooting availability.🤷‍♂️
