Brave man to attempt such a visible part on a first time welding. Love the fact that you did it yourself the way you wanted.

It's been holding up great! It was good motivation to really work on making nice welds. I still think I would like to gusset it where it connects to the frame

As a beginner stick welder I can say your welds look pretty good for a first time.

Thank you! I watched a good bit of KZbin tutorials before even starting

Flux core has a lot of magnesium in it. So when you stack welds on top of welds. It makes them brittle and prone to cracking. Otherwise great job. Im about to look into fabbing up something very similar.

Where’d you get the decal on the side of the vehicle?

I actually made it with some vinyl sticker sheets you can print at home, but they faded over time. I think next I will airbrush paint the stripes on.
