Should have had some Klein tools at hand to strip those wires . Good idea for ground i I'm an electrician by trade but not in the field I do small motor work this wiring kit I got i as terrible need to splice into magneto wires with same style round ones your using I bought 16 thinking now if 18 or 20 gauge

The black wire is AC imput from stater

you have to test continuity with a ohm meter to trace that stator line for GY6 is not always as color coded standard even from same manufacture.

Hey all... My scooter have been standing 4 8months now and i`m still struggling with spark. I have 3 yellow wires a red, and a green wire on my rectifier mounted on the left side of my handlebar. my stators wires are yellow, white, green, (pick-up) blue & white and the black & red wire. I have a chineese CDI box, but with 2 gound (green) wires. How do i connect the rectifier with what wires?

My Chinese is yellow wire to headlight yellow blue rectifier from stator These are both AC

Stator produce AC on all small engine diode in cdi and rectifiers convert to dc headlight and tails all are AC current by law they must be on whenever bike is running. The empty wire on cdi is ground. Unrestricted bike it is the restrictor cutting engine out at 7.5 rpmsx10
