You make great points. Another point to add is apart from online / offline, sub brands are also created at times to avoid brand taxation as well. Example Huawei and Honor. Some brands aren't allowed to use tech from certain regions, so a sub brand is the easiest way to avoid it. Some brands are also legally not allowed to bring certain to some countries for multiple reasons, so selling under a totally different brand name with features that are more locally oriented is cheaper and easier too.

Online phones will not get service is a lie often used by offline retailers. But I know an honest retailer friend who takes his customers's devices to service centers if service is required. That's how he gains more trust and sales.

Xaiomi focus mainly on Online sales whereas Samsung on Offline. One of the biggest reasons is Samsung is doing this (Offline) for very long now and all knows if you and purchase offline...consumer experiences in-hand feel and UI things and not just consider Spec-sheet which is the major difference in online and offline. Mostly, the mid-rangers sacrifice the in-hand feel of the phone to get that cheap price. Their phones are built with mostly plastic or at most carbonated materials and hence feel alot more cheaper or less premium as compared to the other big guys, such as Samsung and Apple, who offer glass backs, aluminum frames and matte finishes on their phones. Aajkal wali baat nehi hai, boht saalo se yeh term use hote jaa raha hai, maybe you have heard of it for the first time. Hope this helps, though.

There are other reasons also, 1:unlike the Chinese manufactures samsung lg sony motorola Apple sony have a great user experience. Chinese phones comes with blotwares and ads in the ui. Which is actually a great concern because we literally paying for that product and the brands are using the product as a advertising device. 2: there is a higher chance of resale value compared to Chinese brands. 3:we get the actual performance from these brands phones compared to on paper specifications(mid to premium mid) range.

Hello Rakesh. This is not a comment about the post but something really important happening to OnePlus devices. I lost my Widewine certification 6 months ago after updating my device. I have contacted OnePlus several times but they couldn't help me. I went on to report the issue on OnePlus community app and was shocked to see 90 pages about the same issue reported by users. There are millions of people who don't even know about Widewine probably lost it and didn't report. There is not a single Tech Channel reporting this issue. I am using OnePlus 7T but users of almost all models are facing this issue. I hope if you mention this in a video people will be more educated about the issue and OnePlus will be forced to help its existing users instead of launching new phones every month. Thanks
