Had budget for s22 plus. Got the iphone 13 256 gb instead. I know I am compromising on some things but it's my first time using ios. Enjoying it so far, but definitely my next phone won't be an apple for sure. Just too much restriction, personally being someone who likes freedom and customization, ios feels suffocating. But camera, stability smoothness and battery have been positive so far. Also, I am learning ios still. I still use my redmi k20 pro as my primary phone and the 13 for videos and camera needs.

I use S20+ and iPhone 12, and one thing I could see is that iPhone and Samsung both give me a stable experience and updates are more consistent and better on Samsung(don't know how it will be in the long run). I have faced no bugs in the UI till now, but I have faced bugs in Spotify in iOS and Google app in Android. The thing I have a problem with is the ecosystem thing, I don't want to dive into the iOS ecosystem because it just isn't my thing, windows is good enough. My Samsung wins in the camera department and iPhone in the video department... Gaming is better on iOS but the gorgeous curved screen makes gaming on S20+ a better experience if you aren't a hardcore gamer(gaming was really bad on S20+ but a recent update made it better) It cost me 15k to replace my S20+ screen, fortunately my iPhone 12 hasn't been dropped yet. My iPhone 7 Plus screen was repaired for 8k as I left a hot iron box on top of my phone by mistake. Service was good in both brands. I got 15k for my 32GB iPhone 7 Plus, which is really good considering I got my 7+ for 45k back in the day.

Okay I got your point. Now this might be a personal thing but I was a hardcore android user and I have almost used android of every brand and I used to be huge fan of android customisation. I recently bought 13Pro and trust me bro the smoothness, the butteryyy experience and that trust on your device’s performance that it won’t disappoint you when you need it most is more important factor for me more thn changing my iconpack. I don’t need 100x mujhe nahi compete karna NASA ke saath. Haan agar zoom hota to achcha hota but it’s not a deal breaker for me. And with time android phones have lost their compact form factor which is an important thing for me. As of now there is no plan if switching back to android for sure.

I was a android user and am iPhone for the last 2 yrs. I'm shifting back to android A few of my reasons why I'm shifting back 1. iOS is very restrictive. The entire experience is controlled by iOS. On android you have different launchers, skins, live wallpaper, icon packs etc which totally change the look and feel of your phone. 2. Storage Vs Price : If you are looking at 256gb and above you are really paying a bomb 💣 I android phones the difference between 128gb or 256gb is usually just 3-4 K 3. Third party apps : I really miss the endless apps which can be installed on android phones. ( cracked .apk 😇😇😇) 4. Boring Design : Android flagship are so much better than Apple phones. Maybe their design will not last as long as iPhones ( curved displays, fold phones , pop up cameras ) but atleast they are trying to push the boundaries. And to be honest most of us change phones faster and faster nowadays. 3. Unnecessary complications : Simple things like transferring photos, creating separate folders in gallery, Bluetooth connectivity with other android phones etc drives me up the wall.

But after so much time watching tech videos and reading on web i think iphone is consistent and good if you have specific work like video production or research or something like that then apple ecosystem will benefit you Whereas Android is more versatile which let you connected with people around you not talking about mod apps and free movies. I bought s20 plus nearly 2 years back, costed me nearly 90k, when you buy a phone that costly you expect to run it smoothly. But I had been constantly facing heating issues, battery had always been poor. Then I recently received a security update, not even after 24 hours of installing it I noticed a vertical green like over my screen. Then it became two. I didn't drop my phone or had any damage. Samsung didn't even consider the issue until thousands of users complained about it. Now they're providing a free screen replacement. My point is, how could it happen in the first place? Do they not test their updates even with their old flagships or do they do it knowingly? Many people I know got their screen changed paying nearly 15k (18k with tax). Personally I've had really bad experience with Samsung even with a flagship phone. I didn't even get a good exchange offer from Samsung when I wanted to exchange my s20 plus with a newer model, but they give great exchange offers in other countries. (edit: typos)

Exactly. This is the comment I was searching for. When you are spending so much after a phone then you will expect it to last at least 5 years. Same thing happened with me with Samsung M51. Within 2 years, its display stopped working. Reliability and safety should be of utmost priority first. That's why there is no phone like iPhone.

@@rickydebroy my father is using his a7 2019 for almost 4 yrs. Battery is the same as my mom's a51. Which means that battery did not degrade. The performance is still the same despite not getting updates for about two yrs. I guess, there are some models that stop working and some don't even work when they are new.

I have used both OS and both of them are unique in their own rights but A thing I would like to say is that Android Has the Potential to Replace iOS but I can't say the same for iOS. Android is really developing everywhere be it Ecosystem (Samsung), Cameras, Performance (SD 8 Gen 2), Charging, Battery hours, and on top of all that, The possibilities in an Android phone are infinite, you can literally do almost anything with it from doing small customisation to connecting your device to different Laptops, Smart watches, TVs, Speakers and much more.

Lack of features, battery life kept me away from iPhone. Android rocks on my Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 🔥 🔥 🔥 1. 2 days battery life on normal usage 2. Lot of customization. I'm not a camera buff. 3. Can remove unwanted system apps by 'Redmi System Manager' 4. Charing time from 0%-100% when phone is off is 1 Hour and 15 min. 5. Customizable button actions for one, two and long tap for Menu, Home and back buttons. 6. Screen Recorder. 7. Can hide notch (I hate notch). Apple, beg borrow or steal brains from Xiaomi/Mi Lesson: Costly phones doesn't always mean they are good.

They should take time to launch any phone, focus on the quality control, optimisation, software updates, etc. rather than Launching phones just like a omelette vendor. I don't think we should even consider performance now. I am using s20fe 5g with SD865. No problems in day to day use. Even budget devices redmi note 11. Or old budget phones like realme 3 pro. They don't have any problem in day to day use. Almost all phones today in around 30k price can easily handle all the games. Why do we even consider performance.

Sir heating problem is there in new iPhones too! I have an iPhone 13 and it’s overheats just by running KZbin offline for barely 5 minutes or Instagram online for more than 15 minutes or using any other app in Power saving mode!

Should have used Pixel phones (or even motorola phones) for android vd ios comparisons. the camera ui of gcam is very simple and easy to use as well. android is much more intuitive than iOS which is a little restricted.

There are lots of variability depends on SoC so choose wisely before purchasing your android phone ..that variants you wouldn't find with rich value of iPhone...that's a biggest disadvantage of iph.. It's a good video. However, there are processors for Android which are powerful and come with good optimization in different ranges of price. Snapdragon 778g and Snapdragon 888 or 888 plus. Those are good options instead of 8 gen 1 or 8 plus gen 1. I personally will choose Snapdragon 888 because I'm using realme GT 2 and I also had realme GT master and they are performed too well. I also used an iPhone 11. Which was good but not so good if I compare it with my realme GT 2.
