Week in the Life Switching to M4 Mac Mini from M3 MacBook Pro

What's up, everyone!
In this week's video, I'm going to be switching to the Mac Mini M4 base from the 14" MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip. I'll also be showing what life looks like these days as an ex-software engineer now a full-time tech creator living in New York City.

Thanks for the great video. I purchased the base M4 Mac mini as soon as it released and, coincidentally, replaced my base M3 Pro MBP 14 with it as my primary computer. The mini is perfect for my use case, I don't push it as hard as you do, but I'm keeping my MBP for travel and backup. Both are excellent devices.

I have been using this M4 Mac mini Base Model.... M4 Mac mini is the best computer out there. Windows can't even compete in performance factor!

New subscriber, and excellent video. Are you able to boost your voice sound quality? The music seems to come through full and robust, then when your voice over comes in, it sounds muted. You can hear it, but I'm having to increase the volume to hear your voice clearly. Of course when the music comes on again, you have to lower the volume. Again, I love the content, and mean no harm. Maybe it's just me

of course not lol I was coding on a fullhd monitor for years before I could afford a 4k. I know some hardcore software engineers who only need their laptop to work. A monitor is a nice to have, not a must have

Can’t go wrong with more ram regardless of what you’ll do on it. It will just last more that way. RAM requirements are only going to go up I think with years passing
