I’m really enjoying your channel. I’ve golfed 50+ years and learned so much in your journey. Your standing jump of 32 inches is insane. Good job. Keep ‘em coming.

Great episode. I definitely have some hip tightness from old HS injury. Good stretches although if you have knee issues be careful on forward and side lunges.

This is good for just everyday flexibility and mobility. Many people suck at golf because they simply don’t ever stretch during the course of the week let alone the morning of a round. Mobility and flexibility is key to a healthy round of golf.

I really need to start doing a lot of these stretches. Thanks for the content.

I am a tennis pro and multi-sport athlete. It has known for decades that one should do dynamic stretching before playing sports and static stretching immediately afterwards. Two years ago, i discovered PNF stretching after doing due diligence after seeing an ad for ballistic stretching. I have been going to Stretch U twice a week and it has been a game changer.

Now these dynamic stretches I can get behind, but the training in the last vid is not needed if you're strictly looking to learn and get better at golf. Learn how to play golf first, then add speed later...

Static stretching before sport is dangerous.

I think the elephant in the room is that you had a high IQ guy with Mike Wydra, and now you're showing us instructors on the other end of the spectrum and your body language and questions are showing us that you feel the same way about them.

He is doing things in complete reverse of 99% of people. He's had how many coaches and lessons , and I don't think he has even golfed a full length course yet. I still don't know if I've seen him hit the punch shot that Mike taught him. I used it a few times today on burnt grass and with branches overhead. My buddy was hitting drives sideways today and I shook him and told him to loosen up and relax everything. Got him on track for a bit. Jerome needs a buddy on the golf course instead of the stress of golfing with strangers as a beginner.

When are you actually going to play on a course? You should post course videos at least once a week to document your actual progress.

This is completely unnecessary for you to reach scratch. You have plenty of mobility. You just have bad intent and sequencing. The gym isn’t going to hurt your golf game and is good for your overall health so have at it but if your only goal is scratch, then you are going down the wrong path and wasting your time.
@johnderington7998 Жыл бұрын
On top of working towards becoming scratch he is clearly trying to create quality/unique content. Mission accomplished with this video. I haven't seen much of this from other KZbinrs and the average golfer would benefit from implementing something like this. It's not going to singlehandedly improve your swing but, if done correctly and consistently, it will improve your mobility, strength and longevity.

@@johnderington7998 If you are competing against the worlds most elite athletes over 72 holes over 4 days plus days of practice rounds for millions of dollars, then maybe. And truth be told, there are a lot of touring pros that don’t even do this. If you’re only goal is scratch and you have limited time and money, then this is not how you get there. Jerome thinks there something wrong with him and there not. Golf is just hard and takes a long time to become good. He’s looking in the wrong places.
