However, with the Pulse 5 you’re mainly paying for the light feature. Now yes, the Pulse 5 has a new speaker set up which has improved its instrument separation… but if sound quality is very important to you, then you’ll still might want to go with either the JBL Charge 5 or the JBL Flip 6. iv notice this after owning the charge 5 and flip 6 for a year...i always find myself reaching for the flip 6 more often...just has better clearity and mids while my charge 5 sounds a little more on the muffled side

The Pulse 5 is the most visually appealing and it sounds great. The Charge 5 does have the best sound quality tho. For me it’s those RGB lights! I just picked up a Pulse 5 yesterday and I’m coming from a Flip 5 which I sadly left behind on vacation 😅 needless to say, I have no regrets on buying the Pulse 5 and I’m loving it too much! Great review!!!

For the charge 5 and the flip 6, you can use a USBC as a word connection if you put in the right code on the speaker using the buttons. Look up how to do it

That’s service mode (the same mode the display JBLs in a shops are in) and in that mode it’s stuck at max volume, none of the buttons work and the second you unplug it it’ll turn off so it’s a bad mode to use

If I would play it indoors and almost around the vicinity of my house all the time then I would go for partybox 310. But if I would constantly take it out especially at pool parties then I would go for a boombox 3. Proud owner of a flip 3, flip 5, charge 5 and boombox 2 here

O.o I've had my flip 4 ever since it came out and it's still working perfectly as if I Just bought it 😂 what do you mean? Maybe they don't last If you throw them around and beat the shit out of em but the two JBL speakers I have have lasted years and years and are still pumpin
