One thing to note, they say the flip has 12 hour battery life and the charge has 20 hour. But my flip dies within 4 hours at half volume. I'm not sure how long the charge 5 lasts but I'm feeling like I should've got it for the longer battery and it barely costs more

omg the soundboks is so amazing. I used it for a fight party that we had outside on a big projector. EVERYONE kept walking to the speaker just amazed how loud and clear ir was. it was so funny to watch it sounded like we were at the fight even on a half acre backyard no sound drop off

I absolutely loved my Charge 4, then i got the Charge 5. Bought a Flip 6 for 89 cyber Monday to connect to my charge 5 while at work. Charge 5 IMO is the best speaker in Sound and Price. 2 1/2 days before i have to charge it.

I had the same issue. I know charge 5 is better and you can olso charge your phone, but the flip 6 is good enough and you get the portability. I can throw it in my pocket and go out. That's the point for a portable speaker: to be portable

Excellent test. I closed my eyes and listened with you and the Charge 5 was far superior imo to the flip. For the record I've owned a flip 4 for years and loved it until it no longer paired with my iphone (but will to my son's for some reason) so I did love the flip...until you blind hear them side by side.

Flip is way more crisp... Just bc something is louder doesn't mean it sounds better!! People are stupid... The bass can't out perform the highs! Yeah charge 5 for sure is a good pick up and the EDM will sound great on there. Make sure to download the JBL portable app because they have EQ now so you can customize your sound a little bit 👍🏾

I currently own both of them. Both of them are on the latest firmware, and I can say the JBL Flip 6 does sound a little bit better and more balanced. The high notes on the JBL Charge 5 are a little harsh.

I was fucking crazing myself when i bought both of them and couldn't believe the flip 6 sounds actually better, someone here in the comments said he's an audiophille and charge 5 is better but what that shit is is a bunch of bass, muffled mids and acceptable highs, a bluetooth speaker should be crisp with bass but not overwhelming like charge 5 does, that's the difference and i recommend you to go with the Flip 6, especially the GG version which is also crisp and bassy
