I have two questions: 1- Why do you grab the Heart Container after killing Gohma, setup? 2- After you finish the run, you say that the wrong warp put you in the Goron section of the credits sequence, which was why you blew up the rocks and backtracked all the way back to Goron City after grabbing Farore's Wind. Does it necessarily need to be Goron City your Farore's wind point? You said that the credits sequence is just a bunch of compiled cutscenes (at this point I am assuming each of these cutscenes has an unique value set), can't you cast Farore's Wind at Hyrule Field or any other closer location and warp into that section of the credits instead? Great run btw!

well that's because the cutscene id wouldn't match up with the credits cutscene id in any other place but it just so happens that goron city credits cutscene id happens to line up with the id set for the Deku tree cutscene

How the blue warp works is it warps you to a cutscene on a certain map. Since farores wind is used it changes the cutscene from being whatever number in kokiri Forest to that cutscene number in Goron city. This just happens to be part of the credits. If this still doesn’t make sense then I think gymnast has a tutorial on it that explains it better

Ok so I know this is super late but I can provide insight. So you can do the setup he did with the basic rolling and such. With the view mode line up the bottom red arrow in the middle of a specific screen white texture. After that backflip up. There’s another way that I did before I knew the set up and it’s basically just doing a camera lock with L and then I do an ESS side walk and it elevates you higher but it’s much more about luck. The view mode from the first set up should work more consistently. Here’s the tricky part. I think there’s a video on KZbin explaining more in-depth but I’ll explain as well as possible. Go around the edge closest to the owl until you hit the 2nd of the two “indents” or raising points of the mountain that are on the front side. There’s a specific white triangle texture next to a slant in the mountain and you need to line up links toe with it so that his left toe is on the white triangle and his right is somewhat near the edge. I use a different set up than gymnast as he uses the map and I prefer getting an angle. Once in this position go into view mode and line up the red arrow on the bottom with a specific mountain, it should be the smallest one and it looks kind of like a half mountain. You’ll probably need a better explanation for the view parts I’m talking about. After this back walk 9 times or count out 9 bobs of links head or basically 18 total steps. Then slowly walk backward and as soon as you fall jump slash and hold forward. Feel free to me on discord or sum if u need help my tag is Wink #4407

I think I understood most of it, but, before you used navi to sink and teleport to zoras domain, I get that you had to wait until she called you to talk to her, yet you started the sword combo before she called you, how did you know when to start? Is navi timed to call you every certain time or something?

Navi is indeed on a timer. I can’t remember if it’s from the startup of the file or some number of seconds after you enter an area.

You have to go to sacred forest meadow, then once you pass the small and not too difficult maze, you’ll get to saria. She’ll give you sarias song. I’m sure you know, but sacred forest meadow is in the lost woods. To get there, listen for saria’s song. The song will be significantly louder on the specific exit you need to go to

Honestly, can't tell if you're memeing since you dredged up a comment from four years ago, but it's Fuh-rohr, full stop. In Japanese it's Fu-ro-ru, and it's common to "whisper" syllables (technically mora) that end in u. It's certainly NOT a "ray" at the end. It's just a word localized with the same sound and spelling as bore, snore, gore, more, etc.
