Since Django´s right hand was hurt and he only could play with 2 fingers and still managed to form a new jazz style, I wonder, what his chords really looked like.

Yes his left hand was badly burnt and disfigured so all his single lines were played with 2 fingers. He was able to use all fingers for chords though - nothing would stop him!

Very helpful Robin. I actually paid to come and see you at Waroona in WA, we came down early, my wife and I, it was sticking hot, dusty as hell. We wanted to wait around and I so looked forward to meeting you but it was so uncomfortable for my wife we had to leave. Was pretty disappointed. I've gigged most of my life and it had to be one of the worst venues to set up a Gypsy Jazz Fest, complete lack of foresight by the management. If you come back to WA I'd love to have a lesson with you. The workshop was a little out of reach. Keep up the great work!

Hi Mike, sorry we missed you. Robin brought us Gypsy Jazz retreaters from Perth to play a few songs across the other side of the dam from the main venue. Robin and Hank Marvin played some terrific sets when it got dark.

Chick magnet chords. You can even make it easier to play by leaving the low E and A open...cheating I know but if you have a lazy thumb (like me) the drones are nice.
