Phil is absolutely one of my favorite personalities in the sport. Great show Jase, thanks!

Any one who saw Phil ride know he was a gift to our sport. Always enjoyed his 450 sx skills and craft the most.., and his wording is awesome and people like straight talking like he does.He has een and felt things that very few have done. He does have a gift to share knowledge and again is so needed in this time. Very much like James his words are insight to the real artist of moto .

I always wanted to race when I was still a kid but my mother wouldn't let me because she saw how much he got injured but Phil is no doubt a major role model to me and bring family i respect the amount of hard work he put in to make it where he has been and currently is.

Phil’s perspective on the industry is pretty unique. He’s been a privateer, a factory rider, and on a satellite team. He sounds really knowledgable on the back end of things and how a team should be structured to be successful. I grew up an hour away from Phil in NY and remember racing him locally as a kid. Always been a fan of Phil. He’s a realist.

This conversation touched on a lot of interesting moto topics. Both of these guys seemed to genuinely speak their minds. It's cool because we know they both have first hand experience on the whole thing. And because their jobs are different, getting both perspectives was cool, too. Nice work!

*🛑Supercross & MMA have similar salary problems only a handful of the top athletes are making really good money. The fans tune in for those athletes but they also enjoy the other fights & other racing. Which brings up a constant complaint I have with US Supercross is the camera following the winner off track when they're still racing going on. The winner will have plenty of camera time on the podium let us see the top 5 to 10 finish*

The mandatory onboard cameras are cool my only complaint is the replay value is great but they only need to do one or two for a crash or a whole shot Etc but they were doing too many replays for such short races like even a slow-mo replay of just somebody going through a Rhythm section. so I like to replay value of the onboard cameras & sidetrack cameras but only play one or two angles of a crash or whatever

I just me up with an idea on how to get around the ban for merch. You could use a webshop with the option to use a pickup spot. And then you have a pick-up tent instead 😉 then you could even sell autographed stuff for some extra 😉 if anyone needs help with a webshop, I'm down to help 😉

Good points on WSX global sponsors. The problem for Joey is he pulled over for Eli at Monster Cup. Doubt sponsors like that image. Phil is interesting. Riders contacted to WSX is the start of Vince McMahon in Supercross. Not the way to. Now it would just be a show not a race.

Is the takeaway for WSX... next level tracks will draw the top riders then take the show international where "motorbikes" are popular but have no SX or moto scence. Places like Indonesia, Srilanka, Pakistan, India etc all have bulk population and the large capacity Cricket/soccer grounds that would easily draw 100,000 spectors.

The main problem with supercross/motocross is the marketing and media. The media is such nut’rider fanboys that they won’t tell the major stories that fans want to hear. If Steve matthes tells Phil’s secret, Phil might delete steve from the group text therefore Steve won’t tell the story. And the media are so happy to gatekeep inside information, they do their best to shut anyone else up and shit all over them. The biggest story of 2015 was Milsaps locker.... and we still don’t know. Lackluster job by media
