my question is: did you finally get rid of the thin raised lip on your black hole baskets (where the parts screw together). you may recall some feedback (mine) that the lip curls over with use making the basket crooked. moving that weld point up about 3/8" would make the parts screw together with flush edges so that (quite common, early-presenting) failure mode is addressed.

Excited for the Trail. I find myself throwing the Finish line Era a lot and that 10 speed is probably fits my arm speed the best at the top end. That's not to say I'm probably going to buy a Time Lapse and a Pixel. Hope to switch to it as my main putter coming from the EV 7 Phis. Love the colorways of the bags too!

I'd love to see ganging brackets for the disc stations. I use them and have several next to each other. If they could gang together to make one long unit it would be awesome. Just a simple 2 nuts and a bolt and an extra hole or 2 on each side as an option would be killer. Especially with the different sizes now.

My wife got me the GyroPalooza last year as my Christmas gift, and it was awesome! The lab 2nds are just as good as any other 'premium' disc I own. I wouldn't have minded a few more slow speed discs, but that's just my weak arm 😅

The swirly overmolds are a little more stable not as much as full cosmic Neutron but my new proton insanity flys More like a crave then a relay. It also has more torque resistance where I can 4 hand it. MVP pro is awesome little heavy but catches perfect.

If you look at any other standard Eclipse MVP mold, they have white overmold rims. Axiom have color overmold rims. Black rims are standard on non-eclipse MVP molds (plasma, neutron, electron etc).

@MVP Please make discs with a glow rim and colorful flight plate. (Not R2) That way you can find your disc in the night _and_ day. 'Vision Line'? Simon has also complained about not being able to film The Dark rim overmold discs. The whitish glow Rim plastic would show up well on camera.

I love all of this, but i do feel it's time to abandon the black rims for MVP. Poor visibility in the air both on and off camera and low variance on the discs probably hurt sales overall. If there's an Axiom variant of a disc that fits the slot i need ill go for that 10/10 times. These lab reports are top notch and unique to disc manufacturers and are, im sure, highly appreciated.

Looking forward to trying the pixel, detour, and trail. The R2 eclipse rim is a flawed concept if you intend these to actually be used to play glow. The glow rim is not enough to make this easy to follow and find, especially with the blue and purple rims. Your standard eclipse is the top glow on the market, without question. Please release more standard eclipse molds instead of R2 eclipse rim.

@@darinladd5312 You’re right, it is hard to lose, as we did eventually find it every time. At around 150 feet of the flight it (Halloween crave, dark blue/purple rim) disappears. When you’re walking up the fairway, it should be obvious where a glow disc is, with this, it’s not. It’s easier to find discs with a little piece of glow tape. I was charging it with the giant mvp uv light right before throwing it each time. my group got annoyed looking for it, so I started throwing something else. It’s too bad, because when thrown during the day it has a great flight. I buy MVP glow because it looks awesome flying in the dark and you can see the discs from a mile away.. this one is just like any other normal disc thrown at night and that’s really disappointing.

yes! it's called physics. in the field, gyro pushes straighter-longer. it's a five percent difference, normally. when you imbalance the forces like this (gyro vs lift/gravity/drag) it means you get different shot shape capabilities (player-dependent). for me, it comes out cleaner on-plane. probably the best two examples of this clean release are the proxy and hex. throw a proxy vs. any putter--it's straighter-longer. and the hex can outdrive most fairways. smooth is far....

@@NJT1013 yes there is science behind it. Especially in fission plastic. Mvp uses lighter plastic with air bubbles on the inner core, and very dense heavy plastic on the outer rim giving the disc a stronger gyroscopic force, thus having more stability. More weight on the outside means more gyroscopic force. Its what differentiates them from single molds. No there is not a machine to test this. There are great ones on golf. Unfortunately those machines cost nearly $1 million and requires a ridiculous amount of engineering. Disc golf does not have these resources yet. You could test this on a disc dot, but that'll be a $300 investment
