@@777guy1 Ok let me explain bit more specifically about Giyu (or Gyu described as 妓夫 in Japanese) in old Japan. Giyu played a roll of watching Yukaku store (kind of guard man) in addition to pimping, collecting entertainment expenses and doing bookkeeping, etc. And Gyutaro is described as 妓夫太郎 in Japanese. Taro（太郎）means a very ordinary male name in Japan like Tom, John, etc. But his name Gyutaro was still abnormal as a standard male name for ordinary people. So Cap'n Usoland's comment is not wrong, though not correct completely.

Gyutaro is written妓夫太郎, which means pimp, which is either referred to as 妓夫 or 妓夫太郎 in some occasions. There are some other ways of referring to a pimp, but this is pretty obvious.
