SHINee 샤이니 'The Feeling' and 'HARD' MV REACTION

Okay, maybe I did miss them a lot more than originally expected nsnsnsn I love how both of these releases have got so much nostalgia in them but they both exude such different energy and trigger drastically different sensations and emotions! The power of music and their music here most specifically is crazy!
The pre-release felt like, as an adult, going back to your childhood neighbourhood and walking the streets like you used to and so it is reminding you of the old times and the memories that lay there; and it’s giving this sensation of “ah, I’ve grown so much since” and that is such a powerful and beautiful feeling. There definitely was a sense of taking your flight in this song and a sense of freedom as well, so much so that it brought tears to my eyes! I loved their voices and the symbolisms here and so my heart belongs to this song!
My body might belong to HARD though hahahah This is such a fun song, catchy, super first gen inspired but also american dance movies from the 2000 with a bit of classical elements with the piano and voilà! This is no doubt a SM release and so the bridge is divine, I absolutely adore the chorus! I think the piano will have to grow on me but it's not throwing me off or anything thankfully; quite the opposite, I think it gives the song that artistic touch to it! So bottom line: SHINEE'S BACK BABY!!!!

Its funny because it's an upbeat song, but i guess when you've been with them for so long now and you know the ups and downs they've went through, the lyrics of the feeling and the visuals of them enjoying themselves just makes you wanna cry, because they deserve to be happy. 15 years in the industry and still standing strong. I agree, I can see this becoming an NCT song, but that is probably because of the higher raps than vocals....since SHINee is mostly vocals. But then, NCT also has songs (Superhuman?) which was supposed to be a demo for shinee. Its a company thing...but each group in SM are so brilliant makes it their own. But overall I really like the song. There is a theory that this MV is literally 2minkey is searching for ONEW, so the last shot of the hand might be his hand while the other three are still searching for him?

in a way a see onew not being in some shots specially in the last shot very artistically: it gives the feeling of one member missing which is the same feeling that lingers after jonghyun not being with us anymore. I see as a metaphor of like “there will always be a member missing but shinee will continue no matter what”

@maggot2259 Yeah, no... not 1st gen... 1st gen is 90's music... and sounds different. They did bring the 2nd gen vibe into it... that's the Shinee gen... but not as much as we are used to. @nnlopossodire, when I mentioned cover, I mean in the sense that both the song and mv sound like something made for 4th/5th gen. Like you wouldn't feel strange if it was a new group singing it. I'd feel the same way listening 2pm singing an skz song, for example. All in all, I meant that it sounds like music from a new gen group with older gen vibes to it more than an older gen group with new gen vibes to it.

Oh my goodness. This is my nth time listening to The Feeling but I still feel very sentimental. Sameee, I still miss them even in the midst of their super hype comeback. It's euphoric and nostalgic. That "I wanna feel" is 💯. I wanna feel again. Adulting sometimes makes you feel numb.
