Great video Peter. I liked the EdT, but not enough to have it in my collection. The EdP however, could be one which does. Oakmoss is a note I realy like in a scent, so I try to get a sample soon. Thanks!

Your reviews are so informative. I'm going to make my first Hermes purchases. For Florida weather, I know Eau Givree is a winner. I have yet to experience H24.

I got a sample just a few days ago. I never tested the original H24, this one is not for me, though. I don't care too much for the metallic scent. However, I can see how some people might like it and kudos to Hermes for trying something different.

Question - how closely does the EDP resemble the EDT? Got a sample of the EDT. LOVE it. If the EDP merely reflects an extended longevity (due to a HIGHER oil content)of the EDT, then I'll get that. But, if the scent formulation is DIFFERENT from the original, then, why bother? (BTW, we gotta boost you "subscriber " numbers. No way should these KZbin influencer "kids" supersede the extensive EXPERIENCE of a pro such as yourself!).

Hi Mike , The Edp is very close to the Edt. A litter heavier due to the melon and amber . It also lasts about the same, although it doesn't project quite as much as the Edt. I favor the Edp . But you can't go wrong either way. I also want to thank you for the nice compliment. Thank you. More Subs would be nice, sirtenly. However, I love Fragrances and also like sharing my experience. Perhaps my reviews help make it a little easier for some in the Jungle of Fragrances. I truly appreciate you, and thanks for watching 🙌

Difficult one 🤔, Most people would probably choose Reserve Privee. It is the more masculine one. But for me, it is Passion Ch. I actually bought 2 bottles. Thanks for watching 👊

Am I the only one that picks up a sour, tart grapefruit (typical Hermès citrus) note in this? This smells like sour grapefruit with a touch white florals and sclarene to me

It has that effect. Either love or hate. Not everyone likes the hot iron steam nuance. I'm like you ,I don't particularly like the smell ,but I love how it makes me feel. Thanks for watching 👊

Disappointed they came out with EDP to stand alongside EDT. EDP’s appeal is very different…EDT was uniquely perfect and I’d love it to be the only H24….

I do see your point. H24 had a unique spot in the fragrance world. Much like Cedrat Boise from Mancera which also came out with a somewhat superfluous EDP. Thanks for watching 👍

Thank you, Peter. 😄 I'm also wondering: you're living in a hot climate for 1 year for both work and pleasure. You can only take 1 fragrance, either H24 EDT or Givree EDP. Which would it be?

That's a hard one🤔 I'd take Givree. The lemon 🍋 note would help with the heat as would the mineral note. The cozy wooden nuance from Sclarene combined with the opulent Narcissus i. H24 may end up being too much if it gets really hot.
