I dont understand the hate towards H24 either... Have the edt and got a tester for the edp a while ago and boy is it beautiful.. 😍 but i suppose maybe green futuristic (and maybe even sort of minimalistic ?) scents are not the run of the mill spice monsters that the "audience" is craving nowadays. Why cant there be space for both?

That’s a good point - perhaps more people than we imagine want the same old thing. Thanks for watching.

@@Persolaise Love your channel. You have a warm and inviting way of discussing fragrances. I particularly enjoy your coverage of Amouage and classic French perfumery.

Everything Ive tried from Antonio Gardoni (excepting Mem) smell like camphorous tuberose and bacon. I have a bit of PTSD to try any more. I do love the higher percentage of naturals in Indie brands, ala Papillon. Most intrigued by Vetiver Bourbon on your list. Also, thank you Mr. P for inspiring me to try 1740. I have since purchased the sample set and Histoires de Parfum has really won me over.

Recently got a sample of H24 EdP and I quite like it! I gave it to my boyfriend because I knew it would suit him well and he is wearing it quite often. He is not a fragrance maniac like I am and I am always happy to find scents that he enjoys to wear.

When I tried it, Eyes Closed transported me to the spa: dimmed, warm lighting, heated stones, and cinnamon oil diffusers. The name really primed me!

I usually agree fairly well with vetiver and have an extensive selection of much beloved perfumes featuring it. But I know for a fact I will try to avoid with all my might to come anywhere near Vétiver Bourbon again. I love Marc-Antoine Corticchiato's work and sometimes adore it. But just no. I'm bemused you like it to any extent because it is the most swampy, green, muddy, overboiled vegetables, stale soup vetiver I have ever smelled, including undiluted EO. Great first impressions as usual

Oh wow - how strange that we’re ‘reading’ the scent so differently. I shall return to the blotter with great interest. Thanks for watching.

The roughness that you noticed may be due to 10 EDT not being quite finished. Somewhere, I think it was on the essenza nobile site, I have read: "The 10edt perfume will only be produced in a single batch of 500 bottles in total, but is not to be seen as a limited edition, but rather as a transitional perfume, introducing a definitive fragrance to be unveiled in spring 2023. This makes 10edt perfume a Opportunity for Antonio to share an ongoing project with his audience and be part of the future developments of bogue-profumo." I'll just wait till spring, and then see.

So interesting how differently we perceive scents - for me, smelling Eyes Closed, I could smell cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger right up front, and surprisingly obvious carrot right after that. And I could barely smell the iris! Despite this, I like it much more than anticipated. I'll have to finish my sample and see if that carrot eventually persuades me to pay 200 USD 😅
@Persolaise
@Persolaise Жыл бұрын
That really is interesting. There’s a strong link between carrot and iris. Thanks for watching.

Hi Mr. P., another wonderful video! Parfum d'Empire and Pierre Guillaume are two favorites so always nice to hear your thoughts. Hit and miss huh, I agree, though for me more are hit than miss with PG. It's not that I like to wear all of his creations, but they are always original and well made......though sometimes a bit thin. And shout out to Rachel for the concept of separation! So important! I love it when perfumes seem to take off from the skin (the very reason why I love JC Ellena and Patricia de Nicolai so much) and I agree that some niche fragrances can turn out a bit swampy. Thank you!

I’ve had 5ml of Eyes Closed for a month or so - it’s been my go to on the coldest of days since then. I find it very cozy and comforting. Will get a 50ml bottle once I’m done with the decant. I’m wondering if it somehow relates to Seven Veils (discontinued, afaik) also by Byredo.

Hi there! I was very disappointed by h24 edt & EDP version they just smell like a lemony car air freshener👎 sorry for sure not my cup of tea! I truly prefer classics by Hermès such as Bel Ami or equipage! To me h24 it's not a big release by Hermès! Cheerio🍻😉
