This is fantastic. It's well explained, you break everything down enough and you speak calmly. Some content creators end up rushing through the small things, which often may be crucial to understanding the big picture. One small thing though, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to ask for likes in the beginning of a video - the viewer may not already LIKE the video yet. Remind us in the end, and you may just get one!

Hey, I am going though transistor concepts. Why does pnp base need to be set 12v to be in cuffoff and why it doesn't work at at 5volts or lower?

Remember that BJT transistors are current-controlled, so what really matters is the current flowing through them, not necessarily the voltage being applied. The reason it wouldn't work with 5V is because 5V cannot generate as much current as 12V can.

Hi, just wondering what advantage does using the combo of pnp and npn transistors on the supply side rather than just using npn transistors controlled by the gpio and leaving out the pnp transistors?

If we used NPN transistors on the supply side, the load would be downstream from the emitter pin of the transistor, and variations in load could affect the current flowing through the base pin (and potentially take the transistor out of saturation mode).
