Thank you for releasing the video.. i can’t imagine what the Japanese people went through. I have always felt a great sense of love for the Japanese people. Have worked with many of them in London over the years. They are one of the kindest, most respectful and such honourable people I have ever known. So when I saw this had happened, I was heartbroken for the Japanese people. With much love from Cornwall in England xx
こんにちは Suzuki san. I’m from Portland Oregon. Just saw your amazing but sad video. Was this Ofunato? It broke my heart to see what happened that day 3/11 and for a year or so there were items from Japan that would wash up on our beaches and that just brought the sadness and devastation of that day close to us all. I have definitely learned one thing from all the videos and pictures of that horrible day and that is, when I am at the beach, to always know a quick route to a high area that is at least 50 meters above sea level and to keep going higher if at all possible because you can’t predict how high a tsunami will go and you should not take chances with your life. Arigato gozaimas, kind sir, for releasing this valuable video that so clearly documents the unbelievable dangers associated with tsunami.
I pray for the souls of the deceased. This video is a vivid reflection of the tragedy and painfully conveys the horror of the earthquake. And I sincerely hope that the surviving victims will be happy. どうか安らかに。
