This is good to see your other taste as well. J Pop is very good. I had teenhood listening to stuff like Utada Hikaru, Crystal Kay, Ayumi Hamasaki, Mika Nakashima, Puffy Ami Yumi, TM Revolution, Gackt, and AAA. I also listened to J Rock like L'arc en ciel, Uverworld, High & mighty color, Asian kung fu generation, and Nightmare. J Metal as well like The Gazette, Girugamesh, Maximum the hormone, Dir en grey, and Mucc. Also of course J Rap like Rhymester and Nitro Underground then later Rykey, Eric B Jr, Jin Dogg, Anarchy, OMSB, MFS, Real-T, Killa Blaise, Daichi Yamamoto, and Kazuo. As well as Jazz like Hiromi Uehara trio project and Ryo Fukui. I can go on and on since I explored Japanese music VASTLY. In Japanese music scene you'll find lots of stuff that is so unique and entertaining in all genres.
