As far as Administrative Results goes, I personally liked his whole gimmick with the balaclava. I also had my mom's ginger hair, and not my dad's black curly at the end hair. However genetics had other plans and now I stand in front of the mirror seeing my scalp become clearer by the day, first starting as a reaceeding a bit hair but then it just started disappearing at a rapid rate. What I love w/ admin is his scenarist skills. Almost every opening of his video is very well made. The one with the PPSH 41 is a good exemple: Good musics, good scene, marvelous Balaclava. What I like with the whole mask thing, is it makes it purely about what you create, and not the persona behind the (in this case literal) mask. Why I liked Daft Punks always masked thing as well, it made it purely about the music without putting the creator on a pedestal. That said, having yourself as a persona can be very freeing I'd assume, as there's no need to hide yourself, quite literally.

It really depends on how it's done. Plenty of musical artists use masks as a gimmick/branding. It can come off *extremely* hacky if done the wrong way. Daft Punk & MF DOOM were some of the modern originals to do it, so I give them a pass. Then you have people like Marshmellow, uke boy, and others that specifically use it as a draw and it's incredibly cringe. I know artists that don't want their face plastered everywhere (an example is No Mana), so they specifically tell the professional photographers at their events to not capture pictures of them. That's a more realistic and less gimmicky way to do it. They're fine with the attention and a little bit of fame as it comes with any kind of success, they just don't want their face plastered all over it and I can respect that.
