As I grew older I find myself investing in sweaters that are made out of cashmere and wool instead of all these h&m Zara polyester sweaters. Love the style, but not the quality!

Me too, HM has some nicer jumpers made of cotton and viscose, but the bigger knits are almost always polyester, which is neither comfortable nor has any longevity... My cashmere and wool knits are still beautiful after years of wear!

Dolman in this case refers to the sleeve. A dolman sleeve is a sleeve set into a very low armscye; in fact, the armscye may extend to the waistline, in which case there will be no underarm seam at all.

Hi! Everything is beautiful and you look lovely in it all! Glad to see the sage green jogger set otherwise every item is cream or black!😃. However, they are my favorite colors too-especially the cream color! Would love to buy that’s shacket myself! It is lovely ! As far as the fit of the last two coats: I would suggest with the shorter black jacket to try it on with the thickest article of clothing you will want to wear underneath it, and if it still feels a bit large, then perhaps exchange it! However, you want to be able to layer with it and I hate when jackets are tight-especially in the sleeves and shoulders!😝! The faux leather trench however, I definitely feel you should size down!!!!! You are correct in that it is a structured trench-not “flow-y” at all, and leather/faux leather tends to be quite bulky as it is, so I think it tends to make anyone look bulky than necessary when oversized! I think it would make me feel/look a little more sloppy/less chic if it was so oversized on me! Leather generally, (ESPECIALLY faux leather) in a long trench coat like that one, needs to be somewhat tailored to look like it was literally “made for you” and it that makes it much more chic and “cool” if you will! I would not worry about trying to fit every jumper (sweater 😆) that you own underneath this coat I think it is more important to have it lay nicely and somewhat mold to your body! If it was a moto jacket, that would be very different-either fit in that case works....cool, slouchy and oversized, OR, fitted and chic! You are a LOT smaller than that trench appears on you and I would go down at least one size! Could you try both smaller sizes before ordering again? Actually, I KNOW it would look great on you at least a size smaller, so if it is easier for you, I would have no hesitation to go ahead and order the next size down (at least)! I have thrifted most of my clothes lately because I am not employed and needing to watch my pennies, but, I have found it impossible to find a really nice fitting leather coat-especially a longer/trench style coat! So I say...Go for it”! Love your style by the way!! (I too have a plethora-as in too many!-of cream-colored sweaters and tops! I found a beautiful vintage cream long winter coat earlier this week and I am hoping it is still at the thrift store when I go on this coming Tuesday-should have bought it! Cost: $19.99 (US) with a 30% discount on Tuesdays, making it $14. Why did I not buy it?!! Anyway,...crossing my fingers that it is still there when I go! Still, that shacket has my name all over it! 😁 Enjoy it all!!

Love this haul and I love the look you are going for. I would size down in a blazer (I think you would still get that oversized look) and I would nix the leather blazer. It seems like a stretch and I can't imagine you wearing it that much! But either way, you're so wonderful!

Tuck the bottom of the jumper into the bottom of your bra! Leaves the trousers sitting where they should be without any extra bulk stuffed in them :)
