Absolute mastery. Unspeakable beauty & reality of life itself. More amazing & wonderful than I can possibly utter words for. This is far beyond mere words. He is playing the soul of mankind & the very soul of Japan? The interplay of yang & yin? The rising of the crane in its freedom? Thank you for sharing this incredible work of this high master. If you give me that I'd make it sound way much better to be honest. I'm not being sarcastic.. It seems to me that japanese are mistreating such a beautiful instrument.

Shakuhachi was never about perfection, it’s more about feeling, which is a very different term for each human. Close your eyes, give a deep breath and listen again, I’m sure you’ll find something on this interpretation, but don’t look for perfection because you’ll be disappointed

You play Shakuhachi? I do and so far am loving the way this master is playing it. And as has been said, there’s no one “right”, “perfect” or “better” way to play this instrument. It’s different for each person and often each time.

@@pabloacosta4326 Totally agree. I play Shakuhachi and wish I could play this well and masterfully. Maybe someday. I love this.
