H-Pipe vs X-Pipe Mustang GT (Which one is for you? Whats the Difference)

after I added longtubes to my X and Borla ATAK its almost blasphemy loud. i have considered going H or to stinger possibly even Corsa Custom Pro's now thats about 350$ a muffler its straight threw with the small slits at the start they use . its got the clean corsa sound but I have yet to hear them on a 2v & would love to. beats the Extreme's price even used.

I personally loved the H Pipe because it keeps the two sides pressure balanced but still separate. My 87 I ran the Bassani X pipe because my sponsor wanted be emissions clean so have the cats on it but all of my other ponies run an H pipe. H has different and deeper tone

i have a catless h-pipe with super 10 mufflers and love it, h pipe over an x pipe any day for me

X pipe, I always love the sound... It makes like a high and low note at the same time. This is what really made me fall in love with these mustangs. 😊❤I got my Offroad test pipe from RicosPerformance, they were cheap too! Love the videos brother, keep on trucking. 🤠👍

The problem with these H&X pipe comparisons is that everyone has already done modifications to their exhaust. A better more accurate comparison would be to have an H and a X pipe on a completely stock exhaust setup. Because if you already have modifications done to your exhaust you have already altered the sound and now your altering it again by adding and H or X pipe. So now someone may think the Xpipe sounds raspy while the Hpipe sound deep. But then that same Hpipe can sound raspy while the Xpipe sounds deep on another same car because of the exhaust set up.

My buddy had a 01 with a upr off road xpipe and super 44 flowamasters sounded incredible with short headers it sounded like a damn lion when he was cruising I don’t think it’s any car in the history that sounds better than a 2v or terminator cobra
