I am surprised that Mr ismail was under your care for 3 years and nobody has talked to him on portions size especially for carbs. He should be eating less than 60gm CHO at each meal which is equivalent to 1/2 cup rice (30gm) , dhal/lentil 1/2 cup ( 20gm) ,1/2 cup yogurt ( 4gm), 1/2 cup nonstarchy vegetable (4gm). Hope this helps

You are absolutely spot on Dr Bhat. What you conveyed in this session is a real fact and there is no exaggeration. Having said that I feel that I should share my own experience with you and your subscribers. I was diabetic since 2008 and over the decade it progressed well and landed up taking around 50 units of insulin together with new generation drugs prescribed by super Specilist doctors. Even with medication I could not manage my DM well. I am 55 years old and works at a senior position for in a large MNC . I started following a moderate low carb diet (around 100 grams of carbs per day) from Jan 10, 2019. Sharing my results 1. HBA1C moved from 10.8 to 5.1 in 6 months 2. Triglysiride reduced from 250+ (with medicines) to 75 3. FBS reduced from 200 to 80; Average PPBS moves from 280 to less than 100 4. BP reduced from 180/120 to 100/60 5. My weight reduced from 99 kg to 76 kg. I am a six footer with a big built Now I am not taking any medicines for DM, TGL, and BP which I was taking over a decade. I am feeling very energetic these days and easily able to walk 12 to 15 km every day. During the last 9 months I have learned that the food you eat is a big factor in managing life style related ailments. Over this period the quality of my life had significantly improved. My weight loss journey was truly inspiring. Thank you for this episode and I am sure that this will benefit many of your subscribers. God bless you. Note. Mangala Pk Sure. 1. 200 ml black coffee mixed with 25 grams of butter (in empty stone) 2. Double egg Spanish omelet cooked in 15 grams of butter for breakfast 3. 200 ml butter milk or salted lemon juice at around 11.30 am 4. 2-3 pcs of Chiken (125-150 grams) along with low carb vegetables (for lunch) cooked in coconut oil 5. One boiled egg with 100 grams of cucumber for dinner (by 7.30 pm) On top of the above I also eat 3-5 cashew nuts a day 10-12 Badams a day 100gr of roasted peanuts a day 2-3 lit of water Brisk walk for 2 hrs every day (12-15 kms). Follow this diet with slight variations

I would like to say a big tank you for doing this episode.I was gaining weight even though I eat lot fruits and nuts and not eating rice a lot .(food is not very costly here except jack fruit) .Now I stopped eating cashews and sesame seeds as a snack and was able to decease my weight.Thank you very much.Waiting for more episodes to lead a healthy life.

Ayurveda describes it as "virudhaahara" and such a combination should be avoided. However, in modern medicine, there's no such concept. You may choose which one to follow.

Dr are you referring to kilocalories when you are referring to calories ? As in most packaged food they are referred to as kilocalories. The calories referred in a cup of rice are calories or kilocalories?

ഇതു തന്നെയല്ലേ Lchf ഉം പറയുന്നത് . ഞാൻ അന്നജം കുറച്ചപ്പോൾ hba1c 11.5 il നിന്നും ഇപ്പോൾ 6.8 ലേക്ക് മാറി. 10 വർഷം 2ഗുളിക കഴിച്ചിരുന്നു . അവസാനം ഇൻസുലിൻ തുടങ്ങണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അന്നജം കുറച്ചു. ഇപ്പോൾ ഒന്നര വർഷം ആയി. ഗുളിക ഇല്ല. ഞാൻ ഇൻസുലിൻ തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ.? അതിന് പകരം അന്നജം കുറച്ചു. ഇഷ്ടത്തിന് ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുക. ഇഷ്ടം തീരെ കഴിക്കരുത്. 68വയസ്സുള്ള മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ വർണ്ണിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് അദ്ദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭക്ഷണ രീതി അറിയുക

Doctor എല്ലാ diabetic patient ഉം ഒരു പോലേ ആണോ ഒരു സംശയം insulin index വിത്യാസം ഉണ്ടാവില്ലെ ? Insulin ഇല്ലാത്തവരും കുറവ് ഉള്ളവരും അതായത് Semi Daonil and 5 mg Daonil ഭക്ഷണം വിത്യാസം. ഉണ്ടാകില്ലേ ? കുറഞ്ഞാൽ Hypo വരില്ലേ ?

What is pre-diabatic? Is it needed to avoid white sugar completely for a pre-diabatic for two cups of tea in a day? Say only two teaspoons?

എനിക്ക് 39 വയസ് ആണ് 3 വർഷമായി മരുന്ന് കഴിക്കുന്നു ആദ്യം hba1c 7.5 ഉo പിന്നീട് 6.5 ആയി കുറഞ്ഞു '. പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പോൾ 7.2 ആയി. എന്റെ ജോലി സംവന്ധമായി ആഴ്ചയിൽ 2/3 ദിവസം മാത്രമേ പൂർണമായും രാത്രി ഉറങ്ങാൻ കഴിയൂ. വ്യായാമം പലപ്പോഴും റഗുലർ അല്ല .ഇടയക്ക് orbitruckഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.പാരമ്പര്യമായിട്ട് ആർക്കുo sugarര ഇല്ല. എന്താണ് ഞാൻ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്

സർ ഒരു സംശയം. ഞാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ച മുതൽ സ്റ്റീൽ കട്ട് ഓട്ട്സ് കഴിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. ഇതിനു മുൻപു സഫോള ഓട്സ് തിളപ്പിച്ച് കഴിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ മലശോധന സമയത്തു് മലം നല്ലവണ്ണം Dry ആയി (പീസ് പീസായി )പോകന്നു. ഇതുകൊണ്ടു് എന്തെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടോ ? ഒന്നു താഴത്തേക്ക് ബലം പ്രയോഗിക്കേണ്ടതായും വരുന്നു. ഓട്സ് അരമണിക്കൂർ വേവിച്ചാണ് കഴിക്കുന്നതു്. അര ഗ്ലാസ് പാലും ചേർക്കാറുണ്ട്. താങ്കളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം അറിയാൻ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു

Dr. my insulin count is 98. It is taken 2 hours after food. I am 38 yrs old. I have no children. Gynecologist said to me only eat protein food, don't eat carbs. My weight is 64kg and height is 164 c. m. She said to reduce the fat.I take the ova cure tablet for proper function of the overy. What food can I eat Dr. Waiting for ur reply.....

Sorry, your question is not clear. You have said that your Insulin count is 98. Perhaps you mean blood glucose level. But is it FBS or PPBS or random? I don't understand how you can live without eating carbs. Kindly clarify. Thanks.

Sir. Diabetic patient ന് കഴിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്ന ഭക്ഷണ രീതി പറഞ്ഞു തന്നാൽ നല്ലതായിരുന്നു. Tyroid patient ന് soyabin കഴിക്കാൻ പാടുണ്ടോ. Diabetic patient ന് ഒരു ചെറിയ കപ്പ് പാൽ രാത്രിയിൽ ഒരു കഷ്ണം ഇഞ്ചി ഇട്ടു് കഴിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടോ.

ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാൻ ജീവിക്കുകയല്ല, ജീവിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുക... ഒരു സംശയം 1500 കലോറി പോരെ ഒരാളുടെ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ശരിയായ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്? പിന്നെ ഒരു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് ഒരാൾക്കുവേണ്ട പ്രോട്ടീൻ അളവ് എത്രയാണ്? വെജിറ്റേറിയൻ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് അതു എത്രത്തോളം ലഭിക്കും സാധാരണ ഭക്ഷണത്തിൽ? നാൻ വെജിറ്ററിയനായതുകൊണ്ട് ചോദിച്ചതാ... നല്ല എപ്പിസോഡ് നന്ദി.

Sir ഞാൻ ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ പറയുന്നത് കേട്ടു vegetarian ആയ ഒരാൾക്കു fatty liver വന്നു. അപ്പോൾ അയാൾ കഴിക്കുന്നതിൽ ആവിശ്യത്തിന് protien ഇല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടാനു അതുകൊണ്ട് non veg കഴിക്കാൻ അയാളോട് പറഞ്ഞു അതു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ normal ആയി എന്ന്. ഇതിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലുംകാര്യം ഉണ്ടൊ. Pls replay.

Sir ഞാൻMet form ine 500 and Gliclazid 80 mg, അതിൻ്റെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ Remozen( Remoglif lozin Et abon ate 100 mg 1/2 വീതം രണ്ടു നേരം കഴിക്കുന്നു. കുറച്ചു ദിവസമായിBPLow ആകുകയും ഭയങ്കര ക്ഷീണവും ആണ്. weight കുറയുകയും ചെയ്തു. Remozen Tab എടുക്കുന്നതു കൊണ്ടാണോ? Sir ൻ്റെ വിലയേറിയ ഉപദേശം പ്രദീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
