Wow!!! Dieses Instrument gefällt mir. Erinnert mich an meine alte LP „Anthology of the banjo“. Mit dem irischen Song sehr überzeugend. Was ist der Ursprung der Waldzither? Klingt nach einer ländlich-bewaldeten Region.

What an amazing sound! Reminding of former times as it is seems to be a sound of the past. Still remakable instruments these Waldzithers with a warm, friendly tone with a stronger bass response than can be expected from a genuine Italian mandolin. And of course I liked your playing - thanks for that as well!

Nice tune! Do you know the name of the Waldzither that is played first in this video? My son just bought one identical to it in Durango CO, USA that he found in a music store. Thank you for any thoughts.

If I'm not wrong it is a Thüringer Waldzither (because it has normal tuning pegs) and it's size ist mostly called Tenor as far as I know. It's the most common Waldzither size.
