H22 Jackson Racing Supercharger Kit Install CB7 Accord

With limited information on these 15+ year old Jackson Racing Supercharger kits, I figured it would be a good idea to do a basic install video from start to finish.
This is an H22 swapped 91 Honda Accord coupe with a Jackson Racing Kit for the 97-01 Honda Prelude

I have a JRSC sitting around, still going to do some little things before the install but I wanted to sincerely thank you for putting up a no BS, helpful video on installing a H22 JRSC after trawling through decades of old forum hijacked threads, broken links, missing pictures and misinformation regarding this install. I finally feel confident to do it myself. Curious though, did you tune it before testing it? Mine doesn't have the JR software, I might have to install it and tow it to a tuner.

Having issues with p0171. Lean. Car shuts off coasting down the road off throttle. Upgraded Fuel pump and standard. Anyone have any ideas?

If you don't mind answering this question, how much did this supercharger cost? This seems easier and better that a turbocharged set-up. Oh and did you have to upgrade the stock fuel pump?

Awesome stuff! Has anyone tried to retrofit an H-series/prelude JRSC into another other chassis other than a CB? Funny enough, my co worker just gave me a JRSC for FREE that came off his 5th gen lude from 10+ years ago. Always been a big fan of the CD accords, but did see a real old post from back in 01 and JR confirmed that the supercharger can't fit in a CD. Firewall and driver side strut tower had to be cut to allow clearance. Can't really sell it as it was a gift so its stuck as a shelf trophy for now until I figure something out.

I test fitted this kit on an F22A6 and it fit perfectly. I dont think you would need any modifications at all to run this on a stock cb7 accord, so long as you used an F22A6 lower intake runners.

As far as I know, the engine bay is identical to a coupe, so i dont see why It wouldnt work. Only thing i can think of being different an issue is if the ABS stuff is in the way, but i doubt it.

just bought a 92 like 3 weeks ago. i cant wait to start working on it as it is my first car. what would be your opinion on what i should do to it first? i have plans to h22 swap mine aswell but should i put a supercharger or turbo sorry for all the questions its just ur way more experienced quite obviously

Honestly I would turbo your h22 if you can, finding these old supercharger kits is a challenge and they can be a pain in the ass to work with. However it is a really good boost in hp/tq and its an absolute blast ripping around with it. I no longer have this kit installed, but i do miss it a lot

im looking at some enkei rpf1s for my 91 acccord but i dont know the spec of the stock wheel and what size to get

Stock tire size for 91 accords is 195/60r15 which is about 24.2". I recommend 17x8+35 to 17x8+45 wheels with 215/45r17 tires. Depending on camber/how low you are, wheel/tire size might have to vary. I recommend using a tire size calculator and researching wheel offsets.

Its honestly very easy! This whole install took me about 2 hrs to complete. The first time i ever installed it, with no knowledge on what needed to be done, i had it running and driving in a day and a half
