This is expected frankly. I dunno why devs with so much passion avoid piracy and keep expecting Activision to play nice. They never will. It doesn’t matter if it makes them money or not, it’s the matter of a different kid touching their toy. The only avenue for any of these mods or games to survive is for pirated servers. S2M and plenty others still work but they only work now because of pirates. A tip for any mod creators for COD or Battlefield: Silently release it. Don’t bother with “BIG ULTRA NOSTALGIA-BAIT KZbinrs” who’re just gonna sound the alarms to game news stations that’ll then sound the alarm to Activision. That way even if you do get cut down (YOU ALWAYS WILL, NO MATTER HOW NICE YOU PLAY IT) the game/mod still exists for someone else to revive.

Bro…this was my life from like 13 (2010) onward. I vividly remember all of the DLC. Carnival…Storm…Salvage Trailer Park. Most every map introduced to this game was just so good. The quick scoping was the best looking in mw2, the kill streaks, the way the guns played, the early parts of the game had the elevator glitches which were insane for Karachi, Derail and other maps. Really hoping this gets to stick around. Very vivid memories of this time of life

Well it's a 2009 map ported to a 2016 game. The weapons are remastered, as for the maps, they tried their best. There's no map editor to actually recreate them
