I feel like majority of the fandom hates in Charlotte because it’s what everybody else does. But her character was actually pretty good; She only turned into a menace after Cleo started berating her. It was Cleo’s jealousy that turned Charlotte bad. Props to both the actors for bringing their characters to life

Nah, in my opinion charlotte was gross from her first scene. As soon as she sees lewis, even though he is obviously with and totally in love with cleo, a girl who was just really nice to her the new girl, she starts a plan to get with him. The stuff she does could be seen as just being nice but after that first shot of her staring at him and the way she starts moving on him and flirting with him while hes still with cleo shows her sneaky, underhanded side. Cleo didnt help and probably made it worse, for sure. And cleo was totally in the wrong since she was obviously jealous and SHES the one broke up with him and kept pushing away his repeated tries to get back together (infuriating), but charlotte had that nasty side from the beginning. And some of her worst moments to me, had nothing to do with cleo and everything to do with how she treated lewis. The way she faked liking things he liked and once they were dating stopped caring about what he liked, assuming she knows best even though she barely knows him. Ignoring his repeated attempts to say "we're just friends" up and to kissing him when he had just said "we're just friends", pushing him into the relationship, pushing him away from his closest friends (him and cleo were friends since childhood and were trying to just be friends at the point charlotte was isolating him), pushing him into doing things for her, and that birthday party where she didnt invite any of his friends or cared about basic, basic things like what music and food he liked. The way she guilt tripped him at every turn. Everything in that relationship was about what she wanted, what she liked, what she expected. It was controlling and borderline narcissistic. That alone was enough to dislike her and all of that was there from the beginning, independent of cleo being nasty in the first few episodes.

I still admit that on a personal side I wish they had become friends, but in terms of the script she was a good villain to contrast with the protagonists.... as I admit I think part of her becoming a villain was to blame by Cleo

So, am I the only one who thinks that Cleo acted kind of stupid this episode? She should have just been honest with Lewis. Though, of course I can see how difficult that would have been, but would have been a better choice. As for Charlotte, I remember hating her when I first saw this series, but so far I like her. It's clear she likes Lewis and there's nothing wrong with that. It's great that Lewis can hang out with someone who understands his interests. The girls really do kind of just shrug him off, which sucks and can be hurtful. Well, I'll see if my opinion of Charlotte upholds regardless of what will happen.

As for the girls treating bad Lewis, I kinda agree with that, especially Rikki, but its her personality, and they are very good friends, so they are direct and honest with him. The only thing I like about Charlotte appearance is that it gave Lewis the opportuinity to have a more separated life, he was always behind the three girls. But Charlotte wasnt right for him, Cleo is.
