Just for info, when f40 was released, it was a one million dollar car. It is one of the most iconic Ferraries. Thus, it went up in value. That release was in 1987. Aging myself😮. I apologize it came out at a cost of 399000. Than quickly became valued at one million

I don’t go 150 mph on the street either. Some people need to learn the hard way. Hopefully they get a second chance, and not die by being stupid to begin with. With more, and more people on the road using their cell phones, it’s twice as dangerous now days.

Great vid just for those who do not know, turbo would have boost lag if any, a supercharger will have constant boost, any lag you have a problem, turbos rely on exhaust gas recirculation as superchargers are straight forced induction either gear or belt driven and require full air for combustion. some engines react different ways to different induction, once you start increasing octane and or compression, superchargers are hard to beat,…any talkers can look up the land speed record, it’s not a question. however, turbos react on smaller engines with happy gas faster but do not produce the torque AND, OR horsepower gains but the speed at which it acquires RPM is unworldly in some cases, of course due to lighter and smaller rotating assemblies. I still love my 2 stroke engines, don’t get me wrong it’s a crotch rocket or a 17 yard loader same game different need. Just for giggles, 2 stroke diesel engines cannot start without a blower at least. “Blower”= supercharger ( which actually have tighter tolerance on the vane composite seal on a gas driven versus diesel) blower= diesel, supercharger= gas fuel) on a 2 stroke diesel most have both a blower and a turbo for forced induction. These are facts just stating for those who do not know im comparing a motorcycle to, well not quite mining gear. Yes both have poppets, if it operates on a turbo ok max boost but on a blower if it operates you best start checking all your gaskets( meaning it created some serous crankcase pressure). Most diesel engines operate in a lower RPM range and have monster torque over horsepower, as to a gas fuel engine you look to equalize both versus the RPM range you are trying to acquire. I know it’s winded thx for reading

Most well tuned cars would have anti-lag systems on upgraded turbos, but ain't getting that on many cars from maker. Mostly why you'd see GT-R's smoking a Hyabusa or H2 (not so sure about H2R since to be on road would need mods). That those cars can put 1500/2000hp down with 325 tires helps a lot, since once your front wheel on bike lifts... kinda best to quit that race.
