These two don’t have disagreements because they share the same class interests. Two rich small businessmen living in the imperial core. Besides that, they’re almost perfectly aligned politically. Ethan will speak and say “this should happen” Bradley might question that or offer his own thoughts, but ultimately the system we live under serves both of these men. There is no class struggle for them. Their material needs are beyond met, their families are essentially set for life, there is no need for either man to be angry and fight because the other man might push a policy that harms black people or might cut into their profits a few percent in the form of taxes. They are actually the perfect representation of the American uni-party. They quibble over details which are of no consequence to them, shrug at the end, and go on with their lives thinking “what a respectable person!” Meanwhile, the person who has been trampled by an unjust system rises up one day, has had enough, does whatever insert fbi investigation event, and he’s condemned forever for being angry, hateful, not reasonable. And then everyone goes on with their lives, the privileged few smiling and patting each other on the back, the downtrodden masses cutting each other’s throats for a few of the crumbs, and the wheel of capitalism crushes the ones who cant quite stay ahead of it into goo. “Should’ve REALLY wanted it!” The others will say as the wheel bites at their own ankles. “Shut up!” The capitalists cry from the front where they ride in carriages, so far from the crushing wheel that it’s almost as if it doesnt… even… exist…

He calls out toxic people and toxic outdated social constructs regardless of the blacklash. This isnt to say ethans perfect but he never goes after people for things they cannot control unless to put mirror up to show their own behavior. He does this all while making people smile and not taking himself too seriously. Ethan punches up, not down. Important distinction. Punching up doesn't perpetuate systematic harm like punching down does. Tate punches down. Misogyny is punching down. That perpetuates harm to an already oppressed community. in my opinion, there is no acceptable excuse to support andrew tate. he is violently hateful. beyond the sex trafficking situation, the things he says are not ok! 1 in 3 women are victims of rape, abuse, or stalking at the hands of an intimate partner in their lifetime. with this in mind, it's just not really funny to joke about hitting women, or controlling your partner, or any of the other wack things he has said. sneako is another example- i have no interest in regularly watching or supporting people who saw what sneako was doing and saying and didn't have a problem with it. there is a difference between saying wild things as schtick and spreading actual hatred. other than that, i appreciate this conversation and hope to see both ethan and bradley continue to interact with people that challenge their views.

I feel like what Brad is missing with the Tate trafficking situation is that it's not about body snatching, the majority of human trafficking is manipulation from someone you know putting you in a situation where you feel like you have to do it. People think like oh it's consensual so it's not human trafficking but that's not the case. Putting someone in a situation where they feel like doing what you say/want is their only plausible option can't be consensual. Tate is human trafficking, it's just the modern world has warped human trafficking into a much more complicated/ grey area situation than the black and white evil of kidnapping people off the streets

I'm sorry, but it just became unbearable to listen to the rest of the podcast when Bradley startedI showing his ignorance on the Tate issue. I completely tapped out when he decided to shift into his thoughts about how saying "small dick energy" contradicts the body positivity movement. Like COME ON, BFFR. He's really gonna let andrew taint slide with the human trafficking and evil hate speech against women, but wants to fight the "small dick energy" case instead💀. Get your priorities straight man, this is ridiculous.

Bradley, you have always seemed like a really nice and genuine guy, but to see you continuously either defend or make an excuse of "i don't know about that" in regards to Andrew Tate is extremely disappointing. You can't play both sides of being a good person but also being on the side of a literal sex trafficker. There's a huge contradiction there and you should think about what you really stand for.

@@joshuafinbow9165 Ethan might have had the patience I do not have. Less than 1% of REPORTED rapes result in a charge let alone a conviction. And this is the data from 2021. Plus add to it that most people do not report this shit, to begin with. And they estimate that only around 15% of rape is reported, which is way overestimated if you ask me. Or most women for that matter. Add to this the problematic character of the justice system which serves rich men. And then tell me again about "innocent until proven guilty" when a man was doing it in front of our fucking eyes and trying to convince others to do it as well. He admitted it himself on his own fucking website and in many interviews. WTF? All of you young boys are lost if you won't wake the fuck up.

Super interesting podcast, but I do have to say that it really rubs me the wrong way how men like Bradley (who seems like a genuinely nice dude) make excuses for men like Andrew Tate SOLELY because they've had good interactions together. Like DUH, of course Tate is super friendly with you...he actually respects you as a human being. He doesn't extend that same respect towards women, or even towards men who don't fall into his personal idea of a "strong man," so naturally Tate's interactions with them are gonna be vastly different than when he chats with someone he believes deserves his respect. And this is exactly how bad men continue to get away with treating women (and men they deem weak) like utter garbage, because good men somehow can't see the problem if it doesn't personally affect them.

@TL-mc6lz2 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Something else he said that annoyed me was something on the lines of "Well, if he's so bad then why is he so popular?" And that was a jaw drop, because something/someone being popular does not make it right, ethical, or moral. Like the litmus test of whether or not something is good, should be more focused on how it directly affects people or society in general and Tate's ideas are actually hurtful to women. I'm not talking hurtful to our feelings or whatever, but more so to our actual physical safety and to our equal human rights.
@Ana-hh1hg2 жыл бұрын
@UC0dZO3WI15J-MvBG7NQZ2Qw I said nothing about sex trafficking, all I said was that Andrew Tate treats women like garbage. Also calling a women beautiful doesn’t give you the right to treat her like property. And he only wants to “protect” women that he wants to have sex with, so forgive me if I think he’s disingenuous. But thank you for that irrelevant story. I’m literally from eastern Europe. I know all about corrupted governments.
@Ana-hh1hg2 жыл бұрын
@@TL-mc6lz I was thinking the exact same thing!! Like yes, he’s popular-among men who cover their eyes and ears when he says dumb shit, and among men who ALREADY HATE WOMEN and are happy that someone’s openly sharing opinions that they already have.

He's on the right track, he's just got to start actually putting the work in to learn about some of these issues. It's clear that he actively avoids learning about certain topics in-depth. Like, how is he so completely unaware of the mountain of evidence that's out in the open against Tate, unless he's going way out of his way not to see any of it? Like my dad has heard about the Tate trafficking stuff and he barely ever has any idea what's going on with internet figures like this. I think he's slowly realizing that a lot of the people he's involved with are... y'know, pretty questionable. But he also sees a lot of them as his friends, and he almost seems like he doesn't want to learn the truth because of the rifts it might cause in his circle. As soon as he gets over that hurdle, I think the cards will start to fall. And here's hoping, because I actually genuinely think that he has huge potential to be a force for positive change in a largely toxic space.
