Mark is the realest one on this show. “It’s also on the man to open up the conversation; if you are in a relationship where the guy is leading and the girl is following your leadership, you need to open up that space and be like “hey how do you actually feel about this?” and create and environment where she’s able to talk” My eyes opened when he said this, and I could be projecting, but damn it hit home. It’s a given because bad leaders lead with fear, tyranny, and ignorance and that doesn’t warrant respect and love. Thus, leading as a man is not a privilege or right but a responsibility to your wife/lady and kids. To do this well you must always consider your partner’s emotions and opinions.

Being from Costa Rica, I love hearing how much people appreciate the pureness (Pura Vida)of the country. It also comes with a bit of worry because I’m seeing how this little country that I used to have to explain had no relation to Puerto Rico is quickly rising to mainstream status. Many countries that started like Costa Rica have conformed so much to accommodate tourism that the authentic culture can be hard to identify.
@brodyhall Жыл бұрын
Hey, brother. I was just in your country recently. It's a beautiful place with beautiful people. Regarding what you're talking about, losing culture due to tourism, I'm sorry you feel like that. I spoke to some locals while visiting Costa Rica, and they expressed a similar feeling as yours. The same happened when I was in Bali and Vietnam. People were lovely and open but conflicted with how tourism affected their lives. On a smaller scale, my country, Australia, is also battling with changes in our culture. I'm not sure what my point is, but I just want to tell you that I enjoyed visiting, and I hope your people continue living authentic Costa Rican lives. Pura Vida.

@2leg1t2qwt5 Жыл бұрын
@@tegridy7987 he is dead wrong about crypto though. From the way he talks about it, he doesn't know much tbh. The popular 'crypto' that he talks about goes viral cause of the money aspect. The useful day-to-day stuff will never go viral because it is boring for the average person. Look up what Cardano is doing, they have tonnes of actual research papers that they released. Polygon is getting integrated into legacy finance and payment systems but people don't even know about it. Look up their partnerships. A lot of people in developing countries like Vietnam and the Philippines are making a living from Play to Earn gaming on the blockchain. Nigeria funded protests with bitcoin when the gov blocked their bank accounts. You can send money from one side of the world to the other in seconds for literal cents with Ripple. If you are just in crypto for the money, you will get wrecked sooner or later. If you are in it for tech innovation, there are plenty of projects to get involved in.

It was also good to see how their tax dollars are being spent. I was told however by locals, that CR is a storage country for drugs… but the punishment when caught, is getting more harsh. Thank God I watched white lotus only upon my return, cuz I probably would’ve had the same existential crises as Akaash, had I watched it before I went on vacay. Lol. But for reals though, I think just being incredibly grateful for getting to experience the beauty of this planet, being kind and helping others, and staying humble all help with navigating the crises.

The point Schultz is making about high body count and how it can intimidate men can be true in the opposite direction as well. It's just that we're so used to the idea that men get to sleep around while it's seen as more shameful for women. If a man has slept around a lot and continues to see any relationship he has as temporary, he doesn't really feel like a guy you can commit to and trust.

The way they talk about Tate is kind of surprising to me lol
@missmong12 Жыл бұрын
Andrew is right about Tate. If you watch those short clips you get the impression that either Tate is a troll or just a downright misogynist. But if you watch a long discussion or a podcast of him, you would finally understand the ingenuity of Tate.

Dude, they need to do at least a couple of episodes at Schulz parents house, especially during the holiday season.

I’ve never seen a podcast talk about somebody so much who they won’t bring on the podcast.

After what they did the Fresh n Fit, there's no way I'd waste time trying to explain how I feel to these guys. Love em but if they don't like you they'll let you know.

Wish I saw this introspective side of Shultz more like this, with the great comedy he also has a sensible and morale code
