A lot of people saying he talks too much don't realize why he's talking a lot. When you've got a guy like Joel who's gone many places, met many people, and experienced a lot of things people never get to experience, you have to understand that he's got a lot of stories to tell. When Ethan asks a question I'm sure there is 50 different stories that he could use to answer with, also It seems like this podcast is very 50/50, you either like it or you don't.
@FlakyMusic6 жыл бұрын
The only thing I questioned in the podcast was the whole spat with Krewella, but that's for a copyright lawyer to decide. People think he's a pathological liar, but I think he just gets the story wrong sometimes. He's gone through a lot of events through his career, some great and some potentially traumatising *cough* DISNEY *cough* so his memory is just hazy in some places.
@godthegod44916 жыл бұрын
I hate these guys who think they're supposed to talk a bunch just because they are being interviewed. "Yes" or "no" answers only. If the question asks more than a yes or no, stare blankly at the wall until they ask you another yes or no question. Fans don't want them to tell cool stories, share amazing experiences and open up about themselves. Fans want "yes" or "no". These podcasts could be 2-3 minutes long if the guests would just be quiet. Or the same length with badass CGI and explosions. That's the problem with talk shows, too much talking.

deadmau5 if you're reading this -- PLEASE BRING BACK COFFEE RUN
@jdshark68346 жыл бұрын
This info may be wrong and I might be thinking of another person but, I'm pretty sure he moved out of Canada. He lived in Toronto for a while so he was able to do the coffee runs no problem, then he moved out of the city and stopped doing the coffee runs I think. Now he moved again and he's completely out of Canada so I doubt he will be doing coffee runs anytime in the near future.

He did one like 3 months ago? Is your brain in the shed?
@jdshark68346 жыл бұрын
ThatToxBear Obviously, it's not difficult to check his channel to see the last time he posted one. I heard that he's moved from Canada since then.

moved from canada? Is his mansion there? he hasn't moved....
@jdshark68346 жыл бұрын
ThatToxBear He lived in downtown Toronto, then he moved to the Milton area (where his mansion is), and now I heard that he moved again.

You need to have this guy and Post together on one podcast
@WinterReflections6 жыл бұрын
I feel like he would have a problem with Post. No disrespect, but he seems to have a problem with a lot of people, especially musicians. And he was talking shit on people with multiple producers and writers, which Post definitely falls into.

Maybe, I don't know. He seems to contradict himself imo. Not hating, just my observation. I only have like 20 minutes left by the way.

This video completely sold me as a fan of Joel Zimmerman. Never listened to his music before this but I knew his name. This guy's dope.
@TheSektorz6 жыл бұрын
someone should've fed him before the podcast seriously tho I love him, when I started with FL studio 3 in 2001 I remember hearing his demo tracks and I never forgot his name until he blew up 10 years later - the whole mouse head thing and his artist name is accidental marketing genius, if anyone deserves to be successful it's him cuz he's been grinding forever and like he said - eventually got lucky, the same way Skrillex got lucky trough him later on, good shit

You need to bring Bill Burr. He has a new tour going and lives in LA.
@andrewd.87156 жыл бұрын
Huge fan of H3 and Ol Freckles but I don't really think it would be that good of a podcast. Two very different styles of comedy and even podcasting. Though it would be interesting to see Ethan and Hila trying to keep up with him.
@julio_aer6 жыл бұрын
Andrew D. Exactly, Bill would probably steal the show. even Joe Rogan barely keep up with him. Just said it because I’m seeing that they got better at interviewing big guests, so they should try bringing more people like Bill so they can learn more from it.

This was awesome. As a Deadmau5 and H3H3 fan this was really gold. Love the whole stream and it was awesome. Definitely some people really aware of the entertainment business. Deadmau5 totally had some great stories. He's got a lot of experience with interviews, on top of that he's been a big internet user since the beginning so he's seen a lot. On a side note- was super sad when his BBC show ended.

As soon as I saw you guys turn my mentor into a smoke machine, I knew that you guys were my kind of people. I'll keep you guys on my radar for future reference in case I start going viral in 2020 and more people know about my name as a producer. Again, thank you for turning my mentor into a smoke machine in less than 2 minutes. This is one of my favorite interviews to learn more about him as an electronic artist like myself.
