I think it’s evident to say that Zach was already grumpy/upset before AB made that joke. AB’s comment was not at all offensive but since Zach was already upset because he can’t sleep, he took it out on AB for commenting about it (even if the comment wasn’t that deep).

I have extreme insomnia to the point that I have been hospitalized several times due to psychosis caused by going over a week plus without sleep repeatedly with only several hours of sleep between those large chunks of time I spent without. It is absolute living hell and I would not wish it upon anyone. Melatonin does not work for those diagnosed with actual medical insomnia, pretty much all of us are forced to take extreme doses of anti psychotics or benzo hypnotics etc. Talk about being groggy the next day!!! but you know what? I take my meds because the suffering caused by ACTUAL insomnia is bad enough that those of us with it do not give a shit if they're groggy the next day as long as they get some rest. IDK I kind of want an apology from zach. because he made AB apologize since sleep is such a struggle for him. but honestly he really doesn't understand actual sleep deprivation and my illness isn't something you can use as an excuse for being a dick to people!!! its serious zach!!!

Just like zac I also have trouble sleeping alone ( which happens every day). For me though, I work in the hospitality sector, so not drinking is very hard, which means that going on medication for me is very risky unless I change jobs. So just like zac, I don't really have an idea of what to do
