Ethan should get a lot more credit for being one of the first to discuss the Cody Ko situation and calling out how disgusting the situation was
@ohreally19973 ай бұрын
Hit too hard and now I'm prob thinking way too deep about this comment, BUT... Isn't "giving credit" just the flipside to discrediting or "cancelling?" Do we need to buy into this construct? The man wanted to discuss something he felt was pertinent, so he did. What more is needed? A star sticker next to his name on the chalkboard? Any credit given for this will only serve to be taken away over something else. It's a zero sum game that only benefits the self-righteous. We don't have to play. Just sayin.

Yeah. When I was with a 26 year old at 16. It really taught me about this. D’Angelo is so right. The age of consent laws are for people who are EACH OTHER’S AGES! Like it’s so gross. Your brain doesn’t finish fully developing until 25. And just because you drink to damage your brain does not mean you’re allowed to harm someone else by SAing them aka getting with a minor or just too big of an age gap with someone who’s brain is not finished fully developing to understand fully what they even want in a relationship/out of a hook up.
@Cashhhhew3 ай бұрын
Well put. I was in a “relationship” at 19 with a 32-year-old and I wish I could time travel and save my younger self from that. I would do anything to give that guy an earful now. He knew what he was doing and I just thought I was “mature for my age”. Legality absolutely does not trump morality. He’s since been put in prison for 9 felony counts of grand theft auto so at least his karma got him 🙃🙃🙃
@H4CK41D3 ай бұрын
Many people do it though because it's legal in most countries outside the US. I knew of several kids 16/17 years old in active relationships (not just hook-ups) with older men AND women in their 20's+ when I was at highschool. I had a friend who was in a relationship with a woman in her 30's when he was a teenager and they even started living together and she was absolutely crazy and abusive. She also had kids of her own and he told me they would give the kids weed to bribe them to go to sleep. She also put down his dog when they had an argument. Never faced any consequences at all. I know he still sees her around town and avoids her. Mum couldn't do anything because in my country once you turn 16 you can leave school, get your own medical care private from your parents and move out of home (as well as age of consent being 16).

I can't imagine how the older person can deal with someone 10 years or more younger for a relationship. The difference in life experience and maturity basically makes them seem like a child to the older age, especially when the difference is like 18 to 28, 17 to 27 etc, one person is barely out of or still in high school and the other has been in a job for a good few years. It'd seem to me that the primary, if not the only, reason you'd go for someone that much younger is to make it easier to control and likely abuse them
@sarascheibler13363 ай бұрын
No one will see this but I just want to say that I love how Love goes against the ENTIRE crew sometimes to defend women who are manipulated or abused by men. Same. I was a fan of his since around 2017, and he alwaysss made me laugh so hard. Truly loved his vids & found him hilarious. And it's absolutely WILD to me how quickly I was turned off to him after hearing about his r*pist friend & the stuff with Tana. @ZedNebuloid so when he was 25/26 he slept with tana mongeau when she was 17. Tana mentioned it shortly in podcast segment about who was the smallest dick she'd been with. Cody has yet to respond to any of the allegations but Gabbie Hanna corroborated the story in an old now deleted podcast clip, she didn't say cody or tanas name but tana says Gabbie spoke about it and was there warning cody to stop

I think Cody is going to ignore ignore ignore. And hope it will go away. Cody, IT WILL NOT. I’m SO SAD about this whole situation. I freaking LOVED Cody and Kelsey. I watched his videos literally every single day for years. At first there were some days I freaking forgot and I’d watch a video, comment… and then remember days later and be like 😭😭😭 dang it 😭 why did he have to turn out to be such a douch3 canoe?!? But… in the comments there literally NOT A SINGLE person mentioning the situation so if you don’t watch any of you guys you would never know… I left a comment about it when it first happened and it was deleted pretty quick. They’re censoring that hard. Tana would never lie about this now. I know people think bc of her past she would but she is a totally different person now…And if he DIDN’T do it he would have IMMEDIATELY came out with a statement that she was lying. I also feel so bad for Kelsey. The people in her comments are BRUTAL. People need to leave her alone. It is NOT HER FAULT. She cannot control her husband. She cannot make him do the right thing. She did not do anything wrong. I cannot even imagine going through this with a new baby. I know we’re all giving Tana a ton of love and support and she deserves it! But everyone go give Kelsey some love too. She probably needs it so much right now.

I am so incredibly disappointed in Cody. I really liked watching his videos. I know how badly it messes you up from being in a situation like Tanas (I was 17 and he was 25- yes, the exact same age. It’s very sus, and I know that it might make it seem like I’m lying. But it’s because of the age that made this hit so close to home). I had a panic attack when I saw D’Angelos video last night and I couldn’t finish it because it just made everything that I went through real. I live in Sweden, so in my case it’s not illegal. The age of consent in Sweden is 15. Because of that I have never really thought of what I went through as being a big deal. D’Angelo and H3 talking about this is making me question everything. I’m so disappointed in the fact that it’s legal in Sweden, it truly is mind boggling. The fact that I was the exact same age as Tana, and that Cody was the same age as him is just… it’s messing with my head. I don’t understand. I have been enjoying Codys videos and wanting to support him. It makes me sick to my stomach. I am 25. I can not fathom how anyone my age could EVER be interested in a seventeen year old. I remember feeling so lonely and lost, just so confused. It brakes my heart how badly Tana has been treated. It’s horrible. She did not deserve that. She really is a fighter, I am so impressed with the fact that she’s been able to turn her life around, still being on social media after being treated horribly by so many people. After being belittled and ridiculed, straight up victim shamed. The whole thing is just vile. I’m so grateful to H3 and D’Angelo for speaking about this.

Honestly my heart breaks for Tana. She is so strong for coming out against someone who has a huge platform and is universally loved. That has to be really hard for her. Not only is it hard to come out against him, it’s hard to admit that something bad happened to you and have nobody believe you. I know she says she’s ok but I’m sure behind the scenes she carry’s these traumas in her all the time. I really respect her for calling him out and for standing her ground. Everyone should show their support to Tana in some way. I’m sure she’s also feeling really guilty right now because that’s how Cody is making her feel but I she is doing the right thing. It’s completely unacceptable what he did to her and it doesn’t matter that he has a wife and kids. They have the right to know the truth as well. I also really hope that Kelsey is doing ok and people should support her through this as well. I’m sure it’s devastating finding all of this out.

Ethan: Beard oil will help keep the skin under the hair hydrated more, but will also help keep the hair feel less dry. Beard butter not only helps manage your hair but also acts as a leave in conditioner to keep the hair hydrated and more soft. Honestly, as a person with a medium/long beard I find it helpful not only to use both these in addition to a beard shampoo and conditioner. But everyone has different skin and you may not need all of it. Also a boar hair brush is clutch. Much love!
