This rebellious spoken word poem of a girl narrating all the instances when she was harassed will give you cold shivers as you lean in and listen. She further elaborates on things painfully true -- how women are regularly shamed and held responsible, for sexual assault, how women are tagged ‘characterless’ on the basis of their clothes, habits and the colour of their lipstick.

If any boy is reading this then just replace your self with a girl, and think after living your lovely brother, mother and father to a place to work whole day, cook food three times, if any thing happen wrong then not like your bother, mother... You can fight or reply or may be every one humiliate you I know you will leave that place suddenly but girls have too stay there, Girls maybe lucky who get nice sasural, but the sarural is very unfortunate or unlucky who can't took care of there daughter who came for them to work, respect and love them in return we should love and respect her.... See loving someone is most important, you will automatically give respect or care, the family who can't take good care of her will somehow or someday will be loose everything..... So please always love them, never try to humiliate, if you are someone's husband, then please, do as much as you can for making someone smile and surely this smile will make you satisfied and if there is any god then he will come to make you smile at any problem or situation of your life....

I am a girl and I understand why she is telling an important lessons about how abusive men are but I am little bit uncomfortable because I have a younger brother . I always thought him to respect every women because if you don't start then you can't hope a safe society for your sister . Completely agreed. But, i think there's one more aspect that you should look upon. I have experienced this with most of the girls that I came across even including my sister as well. The girls who actually suffer or go through these problems are actually not able to say anything about it and worst part is we are unable to do anything for them and most importantly we don't even care. The girls who are actually living with all the comforts and freedoms without any discrimination in their families usually come up with the slogans like "Women Empowerment". At, times I do feel that in spite of getting equal treatment within the family they have got a valid point to say because their are several other sections of society where the sense of equal treatment is not their. And, suddenly after that something or the other happens where some physical work or hard work needs to be done and in this situation the sense of equality for these rahiszadis goes away and they jump back to the same old mentality and come up with a dialogue "Aab kya ladki se itni mehnat karayega". So, this duality of mind of these rahiszadis is simply beyond my understanding.
