The original port of North Holland before Amsterdam was well developed as today city, the first goodies and spices from Indonesia came into Western Europe. Groetjes uit Gordel van Smaragd Indonesië, woonde ik in Nederland tussen 2002 t/m eind 2010.

Amsterdam is one of the Most beautiful Cities in the World .. i was several Times there ...Haarlem too ..also the Atmosphere .. I also like the Houses ..they look slim and Tiny , but they´re GREAT inside .. And .. yes .. coffee shops .. I think that's a SUPER thing .. The people are soo sweet too and the whole city is just great

Nah, Amsterdam has been polluted by excessive tourism. There's a number of other cities in the Netherlands that are prettier than our capital, but it is a matter of opinions I guess.

Hi serge ! Thank you for you comment! I use the full version of tubebuddy only 9 dollars if you use my link you also help me 😏 and the boats in Haarlem. . If you have money you can buy boat and use them for free i think you only need a boat license 👍nothing is for free in the netherlands 😏 and the canals lead to the sea 👍

You shud do the pacific Crest trail. Mexico to Canada. Takes a while and needs planning. Great hikes rogue River Trail in Oregon. Get a trail guide to the points of interest and the milege and if theres water ect. good to have a bear bell the trail is sometimes blind and close to the edge over the water and a long way down but is a great hike and they will boat you accross to stay in the only lodge out there. check with forestry service on bear report or other conditions. its not an agressive hike 42 miles one way is beautiful and really interesting. the stops or places are all named.
