6:06 the Oval Room in Teyler's Museum. When emperor Napoleon Bonaparte visited Haarlem (1811), he ignored the city's dignitaries at City Hall and was only interested in the museum. His younger brother Louis Napoleon (in Dutch: Lodewijk Napoleon) was king of the Netherlands at the time and had a palace (Villa Welgelegen), just south of city centre. Trivia question: where is the highest point of Europe ? Mont Blanc, you would say, but it's Haarlem. The Frenchman Horace de Saussure chopped off the tip of Mont Blanc, it's on display in the Oval Room since 1787.

3:42 centuries old painting of "Grote Markt" square ("big market"). Go back to poster's Haarlem market video and recognize what's stll there today. The church was called "St. Bavo" before protestant reformation and "Grote Kerk" since ("big church")
