Not enough people are talking about it, everybody is thinking he played really well because of the plays he made (and they looked great) but nobody is seeing the plays he left on the field. And honestly? His tape looks like that since 2021. Hurts is better than Wentz in most aspects but I'll never forget how Wentz stayed in the pocket until the very last second to find an open receiver and would even take the hit if he thought someone would get open. Hurts bails out too quickly. It sucks that QBs usually come with either "one or the other". An Eagles QB with Wentz ability to read his receivers and arm talent with Hurts mental toughness, leadership and run skills would be perfect.

Definitely, and Kelce made the point that it’s really just the run defense. Shore that up, and then the d-line will have more 3rd and longs to get for rushing the passer. But that’s really the only obvious hole right now. I feel like the offense will hum as they get more and more familiar with Moore’s offense, and Barkley has been awesome in the small sample size we got.

Guys, 15 out of 17 games last year were either a loss, or a 1 score game... this is not an end of season, 'collapse' issue. The defense started showing cracks in 2022, and has been aging and bleeding talent since then. Doesnt matter who we put in to coach, we need talent! We havent been able to stop the run in a long time. Washington has known this since 2022 and thats how they beat us then and then gannon beat us with it in 2023. And now everyone knows and we are talentless to stop it. They run the clock down and Jalen has to be perfect just to outscore our defense in time.

The defense issues I think are more scheme issues we played for the most part all 4 player fronts on the defense with very little blitzing or extra pressure! Vic needs to get away from all this let’s just sit back and prevent the big play and start dialing up some blitz packages that being added and needed pressure. The final drive of the falcons game he played 2 high safety plays opening up the field and giving cousins way to much time. In my opinion this is all on him and has me questioning whether he was the right guy for the job

I understand Baun & Dean are playing pretty good at the LB spots but Dean is hurt alot so if he was to get injured after we trade White away we'll be weak at that spot & be looking to make a trade, let's keep him for depth & work him in during games trading him makes absolutely no sense to me.

We have no edge rushers, miss tackles, and the secondary hasn't gelled...outside of that we are dandy. Why do the Eagles make it so difficult for us, a dominant defense like in the past would be in Super Bowls after Super Bowl. I can't name one team with half defense today, it's all about arena football.

I have ALWAYS hated that coaches always fall on the sword for their players when they don't perform. Instead of making excuses and taking the blame, how about coaches call out some guys for not playing up to the expectations of their talents and contracts.

Carter and Davis are the biggest issues here. We need to get some production from them. Our d line has been dog crap for two weeks and it was supposed to be our strength. Any qb can tear up a defense if given the time we have seen so far.
