I have the pro, the griddle and power burner sitting in my garage. Haven't opened them yet because I want to keep them protected but the packaging and shipping from BBQ Guys were awesome. Waiting on access doors and insulated jackets. Thanks for the videos. Can't wait to get rolling on this project.

I have my Pro 4-burners sitting in my garage waiting for the cart, unfortunately it looks like it will take few weeks to get delivered still. I cuddle the heavy grids and burners every day as I know they will become dark and dirty soon, I can’t wait to get my new toy rolling soon!!

Hi Jim…. I purchased the 32” LUX 3 burner and the LUX Griddle. Do you have any suggestions or resources on how to hook up the gas lines? Which hoses? Tee Splitter? Cannot seem to find information or videos. A plumber wants $1500 just to connect hoses from my gas valve on the side of the house. I think I can DIY. The kitchen will be built in July. I have the appliances now.

Hi there…. All great questions. Blaze natural gas appliances use a standard 1/2” connection. You can use a tee splitter but it’s important to be sure the pressure at the end of the line will suffice to ensure proper gas flow, especially for more than one grill. 4” water column is required for natural gas. In most cases, a natural gas grill is at the end of the line. Depending on how many other gas appliances are in the house, you may need to adjust the regulator at the head end. You’ll also need an accessible gas shut off valve. That’s where a gas professional is essential. Our tech support team can probably answer these questions with greater detail. They deal with real-world installs far more than I do. Don’t hesitate to call if further questions arise. 866-976-9510.

I have an Alfresco rill now with the infrared sear station. If I go with the Blaze Pro 44" do I need to purchase the sear station separately?
@grillingwithjimbo Жыл бұрын
Yes, the sear burner is an option that would have to be purchased separately. Only one sear burner, per grill. Those things get really hot. I would even try searing on the main burners before buying the IR burner. It might be all you need. Pre-heating is important, especially with the pro series. There’s a lot of stainless in there that needs to heat up.

Thanks. I do really like the sear station on the Alfresco but not a big fan of the ceramic briquettes.

Question: Is the LP tank on a slide in/out rack? Or is the LP cradle stationary?
@grillingwithjimbo2 жыл бұрын
In the cart, it’s stationary. There’s a hole for the base of the tank and a locking screw that holds it tight. We do have propane pull out drawers for custom bbq islands, as well.

I just purchased 3 burner pro and can't wait to start grilling! Just wished there were more grilling reviews for the pro. Been reading reviews that the pro lux grills don't cook evenly and hard to control the heat. I hope they are wrong. Thank you for this review.

The Pro Lux has very heavy cooking grates. My advice is to take the time to preheat properly, with the lid closed. Because gas grills vent out the rear, they tend to get hotter in the back. The higher temps on the pro grills will make this more noticeable, especially if you fire it up and start cooking, without preheating.

Just to think I need to wait 6 months for my new house makes me sad/mad ...cant wait for my Blaze LTE grill plus power Burner

Waiting is the hardest part. Currently waiting to move into our new place. All I can think about is getting those grills up and running.

@@grillingwithjimbo .....is the Blaze Logo backsplash available ???
@grillingwithjimbo3 жыл бұрын
@@mariobrenes91 Nope. That was special made for a trade show we did a few years ago. It’s a mount for one of our vent hoods. Kind of cool looking, though.
