Habie how it works- player kill 10 points (some servers vary) zombie kill 1 points, it is on you leaderboard and the airdrop is a military crate (aka the thing you find in the middle near the pond) another tip for getting points is team up. I wish there were more on Shack, especially that arent locked behind a private server. There's currently only like 5-6 servers in total for Cod zombies, but the majority are private 😭. Honestly, most days it feels like we barely get any custom maps unless you have a PC, which gives you a little more options. I just wish I could play Call of the Dead without PC 😭

Habie the Airdrop is a box that will drop in the middle of the map with great military-grade weapons. How you get it is simple: you get a point is for every zombie that you kill and are awarded 1 point and you can take all of the points from others if you kill them. The only problem is that once you get the 200 points and call it in an air raid siren will go off and everyone will be looking for it.

Your points are the score that would usually be in snd. You get the points people had when you kill them. You get 1 per kill (if they have 0 points) and 1 per zombie kill. 200 gets you an air drop that has really good guns.

This was great! Btw, now that you have a quest 2 you should try out Pavlov shack natively on the quest. I’m sure it’s a worse experience but it’s be interesting to see how they compare. Also, as a side note they just came out with prop hunt in beta for Pavlov and that looks like it’d be fun too. (Edit: I was apparently mistaken on how it works. It's available in the code but only through certain maps. The one that supposedly works most recently is PH Warehouse. I don't have the PC version of Pavlov or I'd check it out myself.)

You definitely should. Habie was one of the first people I watched to get an idea about how VR feels, also considering he prefers to go the cheap route for VR like myself. Habie plays Quest 2 on a PC, and you can see how beautiful that looks. It still looks really good on wireless, but obviously PC looks better and gives you more map and game options. As someone who has been stuck to wireless with no PC for a while, I was sold within the 1st hour I touched it. Almost a month later, and I'm still playing every day and running my entire battery dry. Granted, the Quest 2 only has around 3-4 hours on full battery, but you can buy a better battery if necessary and it fully charges in only 2 and a half hours. I dont mind the short battery time, as by the time it dies my face is begging for a break. 2 and a half hours is also like the perfect break time for me. TLDR: It is 100% worth the buy. If you have PC, you basically triple to quadruple your catalog and map options for Pavlov Shack. Short battery time, but can be upgraded to be better if you really want more than 3-4 hours of play. If your goal is to just enjoy VR in general, Quest 2 is the best route for beginners, like myself.

Something i dont think it's talked about enough is how GOOD this map looks, the first time i loaded in i was completely awestuck at the skybox and the scenery, going to a really high point and just looking at the distance gives you a feeling im just unable to describe. Only negative i would give it is that the map just "ends" instead of being something like a beach or a death wall, also with how big the mountains/rock give the map a sense of scale, some caves or, hell, even a small town inside a massive cave would make this map even better.

If you like this please play a custom map called The Island (or something similar, I can't remember the exact name) it's similar but so incredibly fun. I have sunk hours into it and you can join up with as many people as you like and just fight off other enemies and zombies. The map has a huge bunker and a two city's with a bunch of other things around and it is set at night which makes the experience that more terrifying.

habie The airstrike should have a value in the menu, but it isnt labeled, I’m on Pavlov Shack (Oculus Quest Standalone) so it may be different but the third number value should be counted as points, it is added by the amount of shots you hit and other stuff idk, but if you kill someone you also take their points, or so I’ve heard at least. Basically if someone wins enough encounters and stays alive long enough you get the airdrop

The points system is on the leaderboard! you get one point per box/barrel/crate looted/zombie shot, and you can also steal all of someone’s points like the little gremlin you truly desire to be by killing them - the airdrop just drops some good loot from the sky somewhere, which you should generally already have by the time you have 200 points

The points thing is basically how many zombies you kill. I don’t know if it’s any different on the pc version but for me, it’s the last digit next to your k/d ratio. Each zombie kill counts as 1 point, and if you kill a player that has a substantial number of points, you get half of what they had.

The points show up under the assists thing in the menu. 1 player kill=10 points and 1 zombie kill=1 point. When you kill someone you get all of their points and the extra 10 for killing a player. When you have 200 you can get an airdrop and get super awesome guns not normally on the map

Pav Z can either be fun, or frustrating. A lot of the time I’m trying to put my hands up to let them know I’m friendly but they don’t care, they just shoot me in the head. And I feel too bad to just start killing everyone so I continue putting my hands up and dying. Then sometimes you’ll meet or put together a group of actual decent people and survive, set up safe locations and bases, recruiting new members and defending it and fighting zombies and people along the way, then you can go to airdrops for better weapons. That’s when it gets really fun
