Minunata discutia, dr. Mate este un om extraordinar! Un feedback insa pentru dnul. Cicu: ar fi indicat sa isi pregateasca interventiile si intrebarile din timp. Nivelul dumnealui de limba engleza nu prea ii permite sa fie spontan. Este pacat pentru ca scade din impactul interviului. Succes!

A kind word of unsolicited advice, if I may. When one gets a top professional in their field, such as dr. Gabor Mate, to accept to be interviewed for one's platform, it is always worthwhile to take the time and prepare thoroughly in advance (the quality of the questions and the level of one's English cannot leave so much to be desired). To my knowledge, dr. Mate has been interviewed by one other Romanian moderator who did his homework and the result, i.e. the quality of the interview, was accordingly. As far as speaking English & English pronunciation are concerned, the good news is that these are skills, that is, they can be improved even by adults like the lady who introduced the conversation and the interviewer. I want to keep this comment short and say that it is in no way a criticism, but a message that things can be done better if we prepare for the occasion :)

In regards to Gabor saying “let’s tear down these monstrous patriarchal buildings that make humans feel insignificant, and restore the forests/eco systems that were rightfully and naturally here for the benefit of all life. We should grow organic hemp everywhere as it has 10k+ utilities and takes the carbon out of the atmosphere reversing climate destruction.
