@@MoneylifeNewsBitesI am a septugenarian retired university professor. In my four decades in universities and in life in general, I found that denial of justice is perhaps our most serious problem. Nothing else can work if there is no rule of law. Legislation is useless unless laws can be implemented. In Bharat you can hope for justice ONLY if you are at the head of a violent, slogan-shouting mob. There will be no end of KPs, no legislation will deter them as long as they know that delivery of justice - if it happens at all - will take at least a lifetime.

Regulations good on paper. Implementation lackluster. Notice none of the laws are clear on Redressal Process- the agencies to approach at every level, the specific authority to approach, the Timelines for each stage, the quantum of punishment/redressal. Finally, the agencies responsible for Implementation and Redressal are never or delayed created.
